Fantastic Series!

I have fallen in love with the Alexandra Cooper series of books. I love the mix of history, crime & mystery, and wonderfully written & developed characters who you want to get to know better & spend more time with. I can't wait to read the next one, I'm hooked! I especially loved Lethal Legacy, as the public library was always a favorite ave for me growing up & still is now. I could loose myself for hours & visit places I had never been, simply through immersing myself in a book or novel. It's one of my favorite ways to relax. I am definitely hooked on this series! My brother lives in NY & I love sharing the history I have discovered in these books with him. Next time I visit him in NY I definitely want to visit the New York Library!

I was traveling to New York City so this mystery was perfect for me. It gave me a desire to explore the NYC Library but, unfortunately the bad weather made extra trips difficult so I will have to do that some other time. Lots of interesting information on
the library is woven into this book recommended to me by a man so it appeals to both sexes.

Lethal Legacy is the perfect read for a lazy read. You will not be able to put it down so it would be awful to have to put it down. There were many night that I spent reading until two.
There were so many possible suspects, that you had to stay right with Alex, Mike and Mercer until the end.

Fairstein always does impeccable research and one could read her novels just for the historical and informational content. Then there is the major factor of someone writing about a profession she has actually practiced. I worked in courts for two decades and I laugh at her many inside remarks. I particularly enjoyed this book because the only shrine I will ever worship in would be a library and the holy of holies for me is and always has been the New York Public Library. When I lived in New York I'm sure I wore a groove in the steps of the main entrance. I thought I knew something of the history of that magnificent edifice but I was sorely mistaken, it is far grander more complex and more fascinating than I had imagined. This book couples fascinating history with an intriguing multi-layered plot. Get ready for a fun and educational read.

This book isnt as good as Ms.Fairsteins other novels. Was a bit boring about all the books,seemed like it was just too much of it. I also was upset about the price for the Kindle version. I thought all new books were $9.99! Alot of the story kept me interested though, I read it while on a plane. Just had to skip some of the boring parts.
