So much changes for the characters in Portal City throughout this book. I love that Carlo finds his way to happiness and that the different packs are bringing about such change. The authors kept the danger and intensity high from the first page to the last, I especially enjoyed the look into what is coming next. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series and I hope that this writing duo collaborate again in the future.

This is a relatively new author for me. The plot in this series is developing nicely and she does a good job staying on point. At times the narrative seems to drag on a little too long but the books are okay.

True to form this book, like the others in the series was absolutely epic! We learn far more about the Chaos and it's hold on a certain wolf. Many battles occur in numerous timelines. Allies unite as they attempt to figure who exactly they're fighting against. Will everyone survive? Will they learn all the mysteries? A very exciting read!

When Carlo needs to embrace Chaos to save his family and the city scared is to weak a word for it. He is terrified. But Nanshe his mate will help him through.

Keeping up with the action is a must in this book. It was action packed.

Carlos has always been a favorite due to everything he suffered so far in the previous books. So I was excited to see him get his Mate. Was surprised by who she is but definitely fits who he becomes. Great addition to the storyline.

Nice Addition to Series, Must Read in Order

This series is addictive. The authors know how to give you adventure, heat and all the tension you can take and still leave you wanting the next book.

I will start by saying this, these need to be read in order because there are so many characters, and so much past action and history that this book simply cannot be enjoyed to its fullest with out all that background. That said this book was great. There were a lot of answers given and even more questions asked. I loved the way the story brought in all the past characters, how they all have an impact on each other and that the romance was well written.

The author's have a great way of writing interesting situations and fun characters. I will say there were two things about this story that lowered my star rating. Those would be that the story was a tad slow in a few places and that there are soooooo many characters in this that I don't feel like they are given their full due (if that makes sense) but all in all this is another great story for the series. 3.75 stars. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Filled with wonderful characters it is best if you read these books whilst they are in order so that you can follow the story and the characters fully and you will enjoy this read, once you begin reading it will be impossible to put this book down.
This book was filled with all of the previous characters and it is filled with the characters and the way in which they interact with each other makes this a wonderful book to read.
This author is a wonderful writer the characters are absolutely wonderful and the plot is truly marvellous and I assure you that once you start reading you will not be able to put these books down and I am sure that you will enjoy this book in its entirety.

Carlos hates the Chaos but it keeps calling him

Carlo is not your ordinary wolf shifter. He was a made wolf who had something unheard of when he first changed. The Chaos filled him and changed him. Carlo became simple and unable to express himself. His brother used him to betray their alpha. Then one day Carlo entered the Chaos zone again and his head cleared. He became a powerful and protective wolf. However a voice from the Chaos keeps calling him. It is his mate and it demands that he join her in the Chaos. Carlo is terrified of losing himself again to the Chaos and he would prefer to lose his mate than enter the Chaos.
Nanshe is Carlo's fated mate. She is also the Norn of the past. She knows what Carlo is capable of becoming if he would just accept the Chaos. A transformed Carlo is needed to fight her sister and save the city. Since Carlo won't come to her, she will come to him. She leaves the Chaos to go to Encantando. Can her knowledge of their past lives help them find happiness together or will Carlo never overcome his fear.
I really liked Nanshe who did everything she could for Carlo. She was torn between her desire to help everyone and the demands of her position as the Norn of the past. She never gave up on hope or on Carlo.
