A breeze to set up via bluetooth on my work laptop. Feels pretty solid, which is a good thing considering I work at a warehouse with concrete flooring. Lightweight and small it slides in my vest pocket at work so I don't have to carry around a scanner all day.

The battery is a little small I feel, and it takes some time to charge- especially considering the only way I've been able to get it to charge is by turning it on and leaving it plugged in by USB to my PC, it doesn't seem to want to charge via a faster wall power adapter.

I like that it came with a retractable clip, so that I can leave it hooked to my vest and not accidentally set it down somewhere and lose it- but this broke after a rather short period of time. But I just wound up replacing it with a beefier clip I got off amazon.

It's a good scanner but has flaws

It's a good scanner, but mine has got some issues within less than 4 months it stopped working properly. Sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't. I have to keep it connected to the power source for it to turn on ONLY when it wants to turn on, and after it DECIDES to turn on, I got to do my scanning before it turns off again. I was not able to find tech support for this device. So I'm thinking this scanner might either be defective, or is only meant to be used for a few months. I use it like two to three times a day, between days, so I consider to have given it a light use.

This is a nice little scanner with a very well thought out design. The user manual has special bar codes you can scan to change the behavior/configuration of the device. Nice! Even better than a build in menu or some sort of configuration setting in an app/driver. Just don't lose the manual! (or a link to its download).

The one thing which wasn't apparently considered is a little cavity in the unit to store its dedicated USB dongle. I can see how these two might get separated over time. They really should consider adding a storage socket or something in the next version!

(There is a detachable lanyard on the device. So I chopped off the lanyard from the little plastic clip and glued the clip to the USB Dongle. Now the USB dongle can snap on to where the lanyard would hang from the device when it is not in use...)

I would love to give this product five stars but a couple of issues keep me from it.

First, let me say that performance-wise this is absolutely a five star scanner. In addition to its ability to read a huge variety of 2D barcodes it easily read several 1D barcodes that laser scanners struggle with. Bluetooth pairing was a breeze. I haven't tried it with wired or using the included nano receiver. Programming is the standard method of scanning programming barcodes from a manual. This scanner can also read codes off a phone screen or monitor so you don't need to have printed pages of documentation. I haven't tried it from a projector image yet but I think it might work. And the lanyard. Oh my God I didn't know I needed that in my life. No more sitting the scanner down and having to hunt for it.

I have to knock off a star for the weird charging with no documentation and lack of support. It says you have to turn it on to charge so I did but it still wouldn't charge. I finally ascertained that it will not charge when connected to a USB port on a PC. It also, despite having a USB-C port, will not charge on a USB-PD charger. It will charge on a standard USB-A charger. I only figured this out after Amazon replaced my first scanner because I couldn't get it to charge. I emailed the company and never got any response. Thankfully Amazon was there for me.

So there you go, a 5-star scanner with some charging idiosyncrasies and 1-star support. Hopefully you won't need it but maybe buy the protection plan, just in case.

This is a nice little bar code scanner. Works with the USB transponder, USB cable and through Bluetooth. I can't get it to read the small QR Codes on Dell mini desktops but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be able to read QR codes at all. Honestly I haven't done any RTFM activity so not sure if it can be reprogrammed for this function or not. Battery life seems great for all day use, it goes to sleep quickly when not being used. It's a bit of a pain to force it back from Bluetooth to USB transponder use but I figured it out. Decent shape and good range for the reader which works a few feet from most bar codes. Range on the transponder is at least in the same room.

Would like QR code reading capability and it would be nice if there was a way to plug the USB transponder into the device for storage to keep them from being accidentally separated and the transponder lost.
