How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsThese stories are so captivating that they are ruining my life.

I cannot put the stories down. I am regularly late for work now (thankfully I own my law firm.), I am late for or cancel appointments so I can read longer and now spend an inordinate amount of time in the head reading long after business had been completed. So, thanks a lot guys and gals for runing my life. lol.
I was not a prepper at all and while I'd like to think I now will start, it is highly unlikely at 71 years old. Thanks for and your stories, your experiences and years of hard work getting your hearts, minds and bodies in such great shape and allowing me to vicariously live that life through all y'all's excellent writing and, OK Jason, editing what you do not write so well to so ruin my life. Hmmm...when did you say the next book/series is coming out??? Cannot wait!

As a teotwawki fiction Evelyn Wood autodidact, I outread the available supply a few weeks ago when I came across this one. Now I am back in the same predicament but unfortunately cursed with the ghosts of these books-to-be. PLEASE continue these stories, every one of them deserve to be more. (Only one criticism - in our reality's teotwawki potential, pets are a huge part of life and the stories feel incomplete without them. Just do me a favor and don't do the gratuitous-kill-the-animal easy out because I don't know about anyone else but I stop reading the instant it happens 😉)

This is a great collection of stories set in the same world with the same events happening but by different authors, some who are my favorite and some I never heard of but would enjoy reading more from, LL Akers you always amaze me and the follow up story that continued the story was just as great by another favorite author. I can't thank Jeff and Jason enough for this collection

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read.

This was the last book of the series that I have read. I did not care for it as much as the first 8 books. I’m not sure why. It was still a good read, though. It was interesting as the different authors used the same basis for their stories (the nuclear attacks), but something just didn’t capture my attention as much as the other 8 books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great collection of the apocalypse

I love short stories. With our increasingly frenetic and scattered lives, reading in bursts works better than ever. This collection is simply outstanding. Josh Brooks' work is particularly gripping and, while I can't wait to see more from him, every one of the authors provide compelling tales of crisis and action. Fantastic add for any aficionado of the end times.

Quite few of the authors I am familiar with and enjoy their books. With the exception of the last story in this book most of the central characters are dealing with survival in a world that quickly slipped into unimaginable chaos after a nuclear bomb detonated in the port of Lo s Angeles. This strikes close to home, my hometown is San Pedro, the port of Lo Angeles. My favorite short stories were by author's LL. Akers and Boyd Crave. In closing I enjoyed all the short stories but the above mentioned authors were my favorites.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fragments

This collection was indeed fragments loosely based on the Black Autumn series just written in a variety of styles about things that might have occurred during the original tales. The common theme seemed to be you had to talk tough and agonize over kill or be killed.
