Not Quite the Ending I Expected.
Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2020
While I figured Jade would shift into the dragon, I definitely expected a fitting and much-deserved end for Noah Grey. The rising of Lilith was just allowed to be swept into the breeze without any type of follow up whatsoever.
Since this is the end of the series, it felt like the threat of "reckoning" wasn't good enough for all of the manipulations and harm Noah caused. He was involved in nearly everything bad, but it was all just tossed away.
Nothing came of it and as a reader, you were left unfulfilled and unsatisfied. In my opinion, The First wasn't that big of a deal to me. Noah was built up to be a genuine bad guy. Much more so than The First.
We "heard" about The First, but Noah actually took part in many of the things that happened to Jade and Alek.
Ending the series without ending him was a huge, huge letdown.
Also, regarding the entire series, someone needs to go through the books and repair all of the typos and extra words that shouldn't be there.
