Greasy, chunky coffee that gives me a sore throat from a non-refundable $20 creamer

While the taste is not bad, this product overall is terrible. I tried it 3 times and it does not blend well at all. The first time, I put it in hot coffee and stirred it. It melted and then reformed as an oil slick on top of the coffee. Then I tried it a second time, also in hot coffee, with an immersion blender. This worked better, but again ended coagulating in a minute or so. The 3rd time I tried it, I used tea and put it in a Vitamix and blended it very well, same result. Then I added ice and re-blended figuring maybe it "would not fall out of solution" if the liquid was thicker. That just made it form a butter-like shell/foam at the top.
Each time, I got a bit of a sore throat (nothing outrageous, just a little uncomfortable) as well. I tried again because I figured maybe it wold just take some getting used to, but no luck. I also take other coconut-based oils and have no issues with those. So, I figured, I would just return it, but apparently there are no return on food items with Amazon so I am out of luck with my $20 butter coffee creamer.
Many people leave good reviews so perhaps it works for some people, but for me, it was just a complete waste of $20.
