The fight changes and a new danger (or not) is on the way

Lots of building going on, societies, friendships, station, shadows, ships and relationships.
Out there in the void there were far more Colony than expected, and now even the SADEs are voting for the annihilation of them all, which is the new agenda, a decision not taken lightly by anyone, but speaks volumes of how big of a threat and unable to change the Colony is regarded.
We're also reacquainted with somwone/thing we haven't seen in a while, one of Alex' dreams... Whom it concerns is close to the end of the book.
The only thing I reacted to was an advice given by a veteran to a Packeo. Closing one eye when aiming is counterproductive when one wants to keep the best possible overview (as I sure as heck would) when hunting the Colony, you miss so much peripheral vision and reaction time. Keeping both open is better for overview and also what's being taught today, even for long range when you need to quickly find your target, but AFTER that you'll close one for aiming, but when your target is at 300 to 1500 yards... the possibilities of a Colony counter would be miniscule. Most in the series are at 15 to 3 yards distance where both eyes open and reflexive/point shooting would be preferred though...
Less number of names and entities in this book made it easier to keep an overview than in the previous one. It's also nice that the veterans are starting to find partners... or potential ones/mates.
Big revelation/twist in the end regarding the Colony. Will wait excitedly to see where it brings us in the next installment!
Looking forward to the next one!
