This book just didn't work for me

This book started off with some odd phrasing during the first sandwich shop conversation that made it difficult to really get into the book in the beginning. It didn’t help that the main characters took a while to really start interacting, and when the interactions did take place, they were short and often glossed over. The intimate scenes left a lot to be desired as well. They were choppy, and not described as well as I would have preferred. I was also not a huge fan of the cross dress stripping, but that’s more of a personal preference. On the other hand, I did like the idea of a forbidden office romance where half the staff was encouraging the relationship and trying to find a way to help it happen. The group of gossiping girls stating the relationship should happen at the end of the book was too fast of a change and not realistic though. Overall, I wasn’t a huge fan of this book and I’m not likely to seek out any other books by this author. It just didn't work for me personally, but it might be someone else's cup of tea.
I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review.
