I just got the the tv yesterday evening. setup was easy and within 10 minutes, I had the 2 feet mounted and had the Android system setup.
So far, I've had time to put it through it's paces and I've been very impressed. Mind you, my living room TV is a Samsung Curved QLED 65 inch high end tv which I frequently go back and forth using.
Interface: I love the Android interface, I'm used to it with my NVIDIA Shield. It's very responsive, the quick loading Netflix, Google Play, Amazon buttons load quick enough to keep my impatience at bay. I did notice that there seems to be an art to make sure the tv receives the remote transmission. This doesn't bother me as I'm not generally in a rush to change things on the tv so a missed button press or a re-aiming of the remote doesn't bother me
Picture: Out of the box, the picture is fantastic. The colors look rich and full and the HDR really emphasizes the bright areas. On loading the Android OS, I noticed the back lighting. But when there is content on the screen, I didn't see that it had any unintended hot-spots on the picture. This is on par with my Samsung tv for sure.
I fired up Doom on my PC, set it to max settings at 4k and I was blown away with the crisp, beautiful images displayed by this screen. As it's on my desk and I was about 5 feet from the screen, I couldn't see any pixels or in-perfections in the picture.
Gaming: Premo! Like I said previously, the picture is fantastic and the latency appears pretty low. Moving around in Doom, the display didn't have any issues keeping up with the refresh of the computer. Who needs a 500 dollar computer screen when you can get this baby!
I want to hook this up to my PS5 (when it comes out) and I will update of any changes.
Sound: Meh. I don't care the sound is tinny and lacking any bass. I am going to hook it up to a speaker system and mute the onboard speakers anyway or get some blue tooth headphones.
for 225$, this is an absolute no brainer buy. I was nervous at how cheap it was but it had all the features I wanted at the right size. I'll add any updates if something changes.
