How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsYup, read this

Ok, so I wanted to like this just because 2 of the 3 are some of my favorite authors. Sorry Mr Moody, I just haven't read any of your books yet but I will fix that in a moment. But it turns out that I can't like it just coz of the authors but because it's actually a good book. However, I must say (and trying to do this without any real spoilers) a giant WHAT on the face of the WHAT? No, nope, nuh uh, stop it. Whoever wrote that, just stop. I can't handle those damn things when they are life sized. A little more ick factor to the monsters than what I usually read but you sort of needed that to happen to explain just how bad the bad guys are. Lots of locales, interesting bad guys and even the snark that makes a story great. (I loved how some characters carried some snark over from the author's other series.) So yes, this is a book you should add to your Tufo, Philbrook and Moody collections.

1.0 out of 5 starsPainfully slow and probably written for tweens. Very disappointing
Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2020
It's painfully slow, so very detailed about each character that it's to the point of being tedious, this series may be intended for tweens and if so this first book may bore them to death.

The tedious character detailing goes far beyond what I needed, or even ever wanted, to know about them and just seems like needless filler put there to make the book longer and in doing so just bored the he'll out of me.

I really wanted to like this first book and even tried to start reading it multiple times only to come to the same conclusion. I don't like this book for all of the the stated reasons and also it's a bit like a slow soap opera written for children. I'm just one of those people find the majority of British writing extremely boring and annoying. This book is not G James or M Fuchs type ( the Arisen series) of British writing, which was awesome, this book is more like something their grandmothers would have written.

5.0 out of 5 stars Please read this amazing book.

Really read this book, it is amazing.
I have read just about everything Mark has read, and work of both of the other authors and never been disappointed.
The begging might seem a little slow, but as you get in a couple of chapters it all speeds up and becomes crystal clear and you are hooked.
The bad guys are bad, really bad and ugly and they smell.
The good guys also smell but they will kick some bad guy butt.
People die but people live to fight another day.
So get the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story

I really liked the main story and the separate story lines but in all honesty it jumps around a little too much for me. Like another reviewer it seemed a little too disjointed for my liking. Don't get me wrong, these are all very talented writers who have given me pleasure with their other works but it took me a long time to get into it. Don't let me discourage you from reading it though because most of the other reviews say differently. It may just be me, and I'm not giving up because I've pte ordered the next one in the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars I’m giving a generous 4-stars.

I was really looking forward to this book, knowing the three authors’ talented works. I did enjoy the concept of different characters in different realities all facing the same danger. That being said, I found it difficult to bond with any of the main characters. On the upside, I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and was surprised at how similar the style was presented in the three narratives. Still, I’d recommend the book for the enjoyment of the genre and to support these great writers.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this, but I did because I read ANYTHING Mark Tufo writes, and I'm still in shock at how good this was! The three different storylines come together perfectly and I seriously cannot wait for number 2!

5.0 out of 5 stars three books?

Enjoyed this book greatly. It was like three separate books in one book. You have to read to see how they all sort of come together hopefully for the next book in the series. I would say exciting and interesting book that kept my attention through out. Looking forward to the 2nd book of this series. Good work all three authors!

5.0 out of 5 stars What is better than two authors collaborating on a book
Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2020

Whats better than two authors getting together to write a book. How about 3 authors all with their own style. It did start off a bit slow because you need to build the backstory. However once the action got going it was a non stop thrill ride. Lots of exciting and sad moments in this one. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this is you are expecting something typical of Mark Tufo

I am a huge Mark Tufo fan so I really hate that I hate this book even though I know it wasn't all him. I don't see any way to leave more than 1 star. I gave up on it within a couple of hours. I don't even know how to leave a meaningful review. I didn't like anything about the plot or any of the characters. There was maybe some kind of potential for a story in any of the 3 major plots but jumping among them was a mess.

Three authors who are amazing on their own teaming up... books got to be good right? Book was awesome, finished it in one day so be prepared to lose yourself in this right away. Love the characters and invested already. The Bleed is a bright gem in the apocalypse genre I think. Refreshing take on the end of the world genre. I don’t want to spoil anything but will just leave with this....

Get this book!!!

I can’t wait for March 2021 for the next one. Thank you Mark, David and Chris for this book and bringing me into your worlds once again
