This has been my favorite Tracy Crosswhite book, so far. I couldn’t put it down, thinking of the horrors some victims go through, but in the end I smiled. Our heroine, Tracy, pulled through for us. As always.

Far-fetched but not bad

I really like this author's work and love the Crosswhite series so far but this installment is a little too far-fetched for my taste. I can't really elaborate without giving spoilers which I won't do but its still a decent read and I'd definitely recommend if you've read the series up to this point but don't expect it to be as good as the previous books and be ready for an unrealistic, "yeah right" outcome.

I disliked this plot because it was a contemporary news story I can read commonly. Yes, there are families that commit these crimes. (Trying not to give away crime plot.) I found it distasteful.
I do like that the author continues throughout the series to have the recurring characters have dynamic changes and growth in their lives. Again, family is defined and interconnected in various ways.
