Love this barbell/dum bell combo. It is exactly what I needed for my home workout. As a barbell it is a little too narrow to do a clean and press with correct form, but it works for every other move you may want to do. I wish I’d been able to get a heavier option but they weren’t available (I got the 44lb set). It also takes a bit of time to adjust weights, so if you’re trying to shift between workouts quickly, that is something to keep in mind. But overall, really great and worth the money.

Not what I expected when I purchased this set of weights. Within 3 of the weights began to disintegrate and small piece of stone came falling out of them. This is because the manufacturer uses some kind of stone along with steel in its construction. This normally would not be a problem if they were fully encased in high quality plastic. However these weights only covered by plastic on the outer rim. The plastic used is stiff and has no flexibility like rubber. So after a short period of time pieces of dirt and stone begin to fall out of it as you are using them because the plastic begins to shift and openings appear for debris to fall out.

Even worse is that if you use these weights and sweat on them you will find that when you come back to use them the following day an outline of rust will appear on your floor. How can this be? Again, this is because the weights are only partially covered in plastic. So your sweat seeps into the rusting metal portion of the weights and seeps out the bottom onto the floor when not in use. The residue that is left is rust stains.

I don't give bad reviews for any product lightly. However when you consider the serious consequences of something that could have been easily solved by using better plastic (a relatively inexpensive solution) you begin to understand how inferior these weights are. If you use them regularly you will literally end up with stains on your carpet or hard wood floors which is a serious and expensive problem to solve.

The absolute worse part of this was researching online and seeing others have run into the same problem. These weights are not something that should be allowed to be sold as they are that inferior in quality.

So I am just a weekend warrior and NO cousin of Arnold. Only after using this for 8 months the bar is completely unusable. Unfortunately folks are just wholesaling crap from China with no quality check and selling on Amazon with the hope if this crap lasts for 90 days than who cares about customer satisfaction. Absolutely trash and not even easy to screw on the weight due to poor quality plastic.

Great product but spin locks are horrible

This set is nice, easy to use and install however the bar and spinlock that secure the weights are made of plastic. Because the spinlocks are made of plastic, it gets unloosen really quick when working out. I tightened the locks to maximum torque possible and still manages to get loose so be cautious when lifting. I also don't like the idea of the whole bar and grip being made of plastic cause too many weights added on can cause the plastic to bend. This is experience from past products that use plastic.

I assembled the individual dumbbells with the 1.25 and 1.5 Kg plates, but I would like to use the 2 kg to assemble the long barbell; however, I would need two additional safety and two additional rod to connect to the connecting rod, is it possible to purchase these parts? if does, what is the process or link to do it.

As others have already identified, plastic cover on these plates is grossly insufficient to protect it from rust. and I have received plates that are already rusted.
Also, I had ordered 44lbs set, and I received around 22lbs.
Waste of time and efforts.
