Love Sawdust in Your Mouth? You'll love the new 2021 design!

I would not give these to my worst enemy! If you look at photos with positive reviews they all have an external metal band over the nose. Mine have an internal plastic band.
This band does not conform to the shape of your nose and does not hold its position. It will revert back to whatever shape it came from in the box. Imagine trying to keep a mask conformed to your face using a cheap dollar store twist tie and you pretty much get the idea.
I'm guessing they are using a new design this year, and that design is AWFUL.
When I was sanding my mouth got filled with Sawdust coming in from around my nose. Furthermore, with each breath out, you get harsh wind directed into your eyeballs.
I bought these for the garage, but if it can't keep out sawdust, it'd bet money it will not keep out covid.
Save your money and buy something else. These are junk. Not garage worthy. Not medical worthy. I'll be returning mine.
EDIT - I ended up keeping them coz I missed my return window. I'm slowly using the box. My workaround to make them functional is to pull the mask up high and complete the barrier with my Dewalt full sealing eye goggles on top of the nose bridge of the mask. Not comfortable or convenient, but it keeps the particulates out. You can't tell from the pic but the gap is big enough to slip my pinkey into and this is the only way they are usable. Still won't recommend or rebuy but I hate to waste money and I can't bring myself to use my more expensive p100 respirator filters on simple sanding jobs.
