An amazing 2nd book!!!

The second book in the series started a little different than the others series. It has been a hundred and three years since we last left the crew. We start with new characters and it takes a little bit of time to get caught up on the new characters,but the new characters are a lot of fun to add to the story. The story and characters are very well written! When the new characters meet up with the guardians the action gets ramp up to a ten! I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next book! If you love a great sci-fi story I would recommend this book!

Well, sorry, but this was the one I said I'd read to give him a second chance... To see if he could get away from using monsters and get back to writing sensible si fi... He didn't so now he's lost me.

In the second installment of his Forgotten Starship series, M.R. Forbes picks up the action right where he left off, with a puzzling mystery. This time, the civilians living in an enclosed city within the ship are the target. They must enlist the aid of the Guardians, a group of Marines tasked with the protection of Pioneer, the generational ship carrying the last vestiges of the human race to a new home. However, the threat is multi-faceted. I won't say anymore - except that the guardians must enlist help from an unusual source. Once more, Forbes keeps you on your toes, wondering when the next threat will take a stab at the Guardians, and how they're going to escape this time. Another good read.
