Hope this one lasts more than 2years

I don’t know about you? BUT I’m getting tired of changing these motion detector lights out every couple of years
I’m getting older and climbing the ladder is getting tiresome and dangerous, installation is easy and lights up bright.
But can someone make a product to last I don’t mind paying a little extra if I knew it was durable.

Good light, bit of a design flaw

I'll start with the good:

The light is incredibly bright. It is adjustable for positioning vertically and horizontally. The motion sensor can be repositioned and it can be adjusted for sensitivity. Overall, a good light.

The light housings are aluminum, but the base is plastic. The base is where the light falls short. It comes with the necessary mounting hardware, but the inner housing hits the ground screw included so it cannot sit tight against the mount. To get around this, I had to ground it inside the light fixture housing. It works, but not well thought out.

The mounting bracket and machine screw are poor quality making the unit easy to cross-thread or bend during install. Owner/installer might be better off using other products to mount the fixture. The light itself is operating perfectly...I bought one as a trial, then a 2nd and now am waiting on my 3rd one as my experience with the product continues to be good.

Could have spent more money on something nicer but this fit my price point for the project. Everything about it feels very cheap but the cost was low so I guess you do get what you pay for. Works very well, just don't have a lot of faith it will hold up.

The build quality is not super robust but on par with the low price. The housing material does the job but is all lower quality plastic. Super bright output and sensitive motion detection. Not sure how long it will last only time will tell.
