We LOVE Tumble Leaf

My two year old loves this series, and - and it's not obnoxious for adults either (in fact, I down right enjoy admiring the claymation - the visuals are so detailed and lovely!) This season 3 looks like they are changing things up a bit - and in a good way, in my opinion. Although having two segments of 15 minute apiece worked, I found it got awfully repetitive, so seeing the intro segment changed was a much appreciated difference. I will say that I will have to withhold judgement on whether the new season retains the "figures it out" portion that made the first two seasons educational as well as fun. This first episode doesn't really have that important aspect, but until the rest of the season is released, I can't tell if this is typical or not.

Overall, I give this a huge 2 thumbs up and a big Thank You to whoever thought of this series. It's artistic, educational, fun, and so original!

I posted this over at season one, and I'll say it again the here: We love the show, it is really the only thing our 2yo gets to watch regularly. It's gentle and playful. But, Amazon, retail behemoth, where is the merchandise? A t-shirt for Christmas? Or a plush toy? Maybe a stick arm band? Or hedge's spyglass?

This season was really bad. Did not like Boom the Bunny episode, especially when eggs burst open with flying glittering bunnies... I mean, fine be imaginative, but don't teach kids that eggs have glittering bunnies inside. The rest of the episodes were just rip offs from prior seasons, just with a different twist to them. This show seems to have run out of ideas.

Where is Season 3?!

Where is Season 3? It has been two months since this preview episode aired with no end in sight. Try explaining that to a five year old who needs her Stick fix. Sadly in a year from now she will probably have grown out of this show. Hopefully the episodes come out before that happens. We love Tumble Leaf but this is getting ridiculous.

Season 3? Where exactly IS season 3? When the first episode of season 3 aired, my kids were so excited they wanted to watch it again and again. But, after a couple months, that excitement (obviously) wore off. Where, oh where, is season 3? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
