An artsy mystery and a truly gender-neutral George, I love it!!

I loved it and it’s really cute and fun. It’s a shame someone doesn’t like it cause they’re homophobic and can’t fathom that a girl named George is gender nonconforming . Honestly, I’d love it if they went harder on gender-neutrality or even genderfluidity with George. She’s the perfect candidate for that. A non-binary George would make my life, shes’s the whole reason I realized I was trans. The mystery was kinda cool and I liked the twist and turns with the artsy family of River Heights. I’m kinda missing Ned though, he’s barely in any of the diaries anymore. Also ngl I like the characters “modernized” like this, they actually act like they’re the age they’re supposed to be (18-20) and are still pretty similar to they’re “old” selves. The writing is getting stronger as the series progresses and I really appreciate it.
Tiny complaint, people monologued a lot.
