Loved Kristof and Addy's story, love this series
Kristof and Addy's history runs deep. Their relationship complex and began in childhood. Kristof Lavrov is not a good man, but he is an honorable man, despite his up bringing. Everything he has done is to get vengeance for his beloved mama, his uncle, his cousin, Stasia and Addy. His Addy who he had to leave behind and was unable to save.
Addison "Addy" Ruger's childhood ended when her parents died when she was 7, and began her training as a operative. Her past she has kept to herself. Her team know some and can guess at more. Nolan and Marshal have a good idea as well. They respect her privacy and quietly support her. Addy has found a home and a family at the Arsenal. She is big sister to many, little sister more, and trusted friend to a select few.
At one time Kristof was Addy's world. For 3 years he had her back and she his, then he was gone. Then her brother came for her and she entered Hive. Her path crossed with his from time to time, but they kept their distance. The op to rescue Jade forced her to work closely with Kristof dredging up a past she wants to keep buried. Now again they are thrown together, back where they first met, to find the stolen biologic weapons.
Kristoff is determined to do right by Addy. He failed to keep his promise to her 20 years ago. He will not fail her now. They time they spend together is pulling them back to the past. Old wounds are opened. Her Arsenal family learns who they are to each other. Addy and Kristof grow closer. She learns the truth of who he is and why he was in the camp. Why he left her behind.
Kristof is at a cross roads and has to trust Addy and the Arsenal with is plan, 20 years in the making, to take down Kastya Sidorov, the man, behind the camp, who has imprisoned his cousin Olof and sold Stasia. Now is working with Mandrake. The Arsenal has his back.
Loved Addy and Kristof's story. Their journey back to each other was long and hard. His saving her treasures and fighting for her, loved him for that.
Marshall and Nolan jump into big brother mode along with Addy's team letting Kristof know she is theirs and he has to prove he is worthy.
The Arsenal welcomes Kristof and Olof to their family.

Great secondary characters. Loved Marksin, hope he choses to make his home at The Arsenal. Gavriil and Fatima, hope to see them again. Slade and Mia.
Can't wait for Bree's story or maybe with Mia making her appearance, a Counterstrike story maybe next.
