Ms. Gardner Knocked This Book Out Of The Park
Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2021
I don't regurgitate verbiage regarding plot lines, so please excuse; I review how I truly felt about the book I've read - and I usually don't write reviews.
This book is a knockout. In fact, I think its the best book I've read by this author.
The protagonist reminded me very much if a female version of Jack Reacher - except how you know how Reacher strolls into town with just a toothbrush and accidentally finds trouble? Frankie seeks out trouble and strolls into town with her baggage - figuratively and literally.
She is an unabashed alcoholic and reprobate with a kind and caring soul who chooses to follow internet cold case pages and offer her services seeking missing !over ones for free.
Great storyline; I was very pleased and was thoroughly engaged from the beginning to the end.
Highly recommend: strong female protagonist and beautiful character development.
If you've ever been an alcoholic, worried about being an alcoholic, have a family member who is an alcoholic, or simply are that person who is insecure, feels guilty about past actions and yearns to make things right, you'll love this book.
