This is the first book I’ve read by author Dawn Ibanez. It certainly won’t be my last.
Her characters are intriguing and the story moved at a fast pace. I’m usually not a fan of insta-love, but I don’t feel it detracted from the book.
Cristal and Dorian were a perfect match from the beginning. Dorian wasn’t so alpha that he would come off as a psychotic, obsessive stalker. That approach is the case for so many others attempting to write an all consuming passion between the main characters.
Cristal was strong, savvy, and I loved she didn’t wring her hands in despair as she waited for her man to save her, or speak for her.
There were some minor grammatical and spelling errors, nothing a proof reader couldn’t tackle. However I was able to overlook them in my reading.
The author has a way of building empathy and strength into her characters. I enjoyed the book immensely.
So far this has been my favorite story of Season 2. It was nice to revisit previous characters. We get a little bit of everything here...laughs, drama, action, love and most of all a complete, un-rushed story. Hoping for more on these characters in the near future..my boy Adam needs some love.

This was a great story but it was filled with grammatical errors. It was frustrating and annoying but I did continue to read the book. This book wasn’t as good as some of the others in this series especially with all the grammatical errors but it has a nice premise and overall story. If you press through those errors, you can really enjoy this book.
