Towel Needed When Reading!

I read a looooot. And most of that is Reverse Harem, so I have a pretty big pool of knowledge to compare Magic of Discovery to, and I have to say it is easily one of my favourite RH novels Ive read. Saige is such a great mix of sass, strength, sexy and just a tinge of innocence. I love that she is not a tiny petite little blonde, no offense to other authors but as a 5'8" 170lb auburn haired woman it is refreshing to see someone more like me. And the guys...oh dear gods this book needs a towel warning! The sex is just..gahhhhh. Kink, MM, Group Scenes...it has it alllll! Even a tiny smidge of DDlg which is usually a no go with me but it was so well done and not overly drawn out that I even enjoyed that part too! The storyline was well paced, I didnt find myself skipping sex scenes for story or vice versa, it all blended beautifully. Congrats Britt you wrote a winner! Now...when can I get my paws on book 2???

I don’t get it. This book had really great reviews. This book needs an editor. Misspelled words, present and past tenses in the same sentences/paragraphs and no cohesive story. Basically, it felt as if the author had been writing down funny things someone could say and threw them in a book and tried to write a story around the sayings. There was no character development. The dialogue made no sense most of the time. Very stilted characters. Would not recommend.

Why do authors wright book were the men are all having s** with each other that's not even reverse hearm ok they already have each other they already love each other why oh why bring a woman to men who love having each other. It brakes my heart for a women . It's awful . Let the women have her men all day long not ones already taken with each other. I have nothing againsten being with men but of I wanted to read that I would. I would not read about a woman being a 5 wheel to there love fest. Brakes my heart for her.

his book is something else. In the best possible way.

That being said, with a harem situation, you're not going to bond to every character. Daddy Cam and Kai are absolutely to die for, no questions asked. Fischer is adorable. And personally, I hate Sloane.

On top of that, Saige just.... wasn't IT for me.

The writing is beautiful, the MM is hot as sin, and the side characters are hilarious. I loved Gran and Maven.

After some friends constantly raving about this book I decided it was time to read. It was definitely different than most books I’ve been reading. It has a little bit of everything and then some.
Magic? ✔️

Interesting storyline? ✔️
Steamy scenes that make you blush? ✔️✔️✔️

Saige is nothing like most fmc I’ve read. She is curvy which is rare in books it seems and she can be awkward especially when she gets flustered. I enjoyed her inner dialogue as well as her conversations with her gran.

The guys, Sloane, Kai, Cam, and Fisher show up in town and are immediately drawn to Saige. All the guys are different personality wise but have known each other for a while and make up one of the best teams in their field. I went back and forth on who I enjoyed more. In the end each won me over all for different reasons. This book is a fast burn so there is some serious steam. I recommend reading indoors while alone. You get all kinds of action in this book.

I’m glad the next two books are already out so I don’t have to wait after that ending! Looking forward to more Bram and how he comes into the dynamic. Also, I really want a pet fox now.

I have such a hard time getting hooked on a book. I can get super excited about a book coming out, even wait for months, and then when it comes out my attention is wandering at 20 percent in. It takes a really good book to really grab me, and before this book, there were only four RH series that succeeded, despite the fact that I have started or read dozens. Perhaps this series will be number five on that special list? I hope so!

The writing is the first thing that sucked me in. The flow and pace are excellent, the story had just the right amount of detail without becoming wordy and long-winded or spastic and vague.

The second thing that grabbed me was the characters. I love them! They all captured my imagination and I feel like they are all real people that I want to know in real life. I am half in love with Cam, Fischer, and Kai, especially Kai, and heck, I am even half in love with Gran! I need her in my life! I am still struggling with Sloane, but he might grow on me. I also really like Saige. She is that right mix of soft and bold. She doesn’t come off as an itch with a capital B, a teenager witch a chip on her shoulder, or too stupid to live…she’s overall very likable, and I wish more authors could write balanced heroines.

The third is the building mysteries in the story. The demons, her power, her heritage, what her mother is up to, how the guys in particular are going to handle new developments…gah! So far there is tension without it being dark or overwhelming, which I like.

Now if only I could stay up and read all night instead of sleeping and working tomorrow. Sigh.

I decided to read this book after so many recommendations and it did not disappoint. I am always in search for a fast burn RH series and right off the bat Britt gives us a super HOT MM scene. If MM is a non-starter for you than this may not be your cup of tea.
Saige our FMC is delightful. She is feisty, funny and smart with a huge heart and is says exactly what is on her mind. No wading through does he like me or not for pages. The writing was fast paced and so well done.
Saige's men are distinct and bring something different to her life as she provides something different to each of them.
This is a series and there is a cliffhanger but it will be so worth the wait.

Holy mother of sexy books, this series is HOT!!!!! I devoured the three books out now like a parched woman looking for water in a desert. I was spellbound from beginning to end, I couldn't put it down. The characters are well developed and so lovable *sigh* Kai *purrrrrrr*

The author builds up the tension expertly. You sit on pins and needles waiting for the truth to explode like a volcano. The book ends with a crazy cliffhanger, but luckily I could speed on to book two.

This is a fantastic debut book. I'm wildly impressed.

So what is it about these books that thinks women who have just been physically and sexually abused would be ok with bdsm? I don’t get it. Even when the MC said it hurt, the love interest told her to take three more hits. I stopped at that point. It looked like at least half her love interests were going to want BDSM and there was absolutely no showing of the triggers a normal girl would have.

This book was all sorts of awkward. the spicy scene didn’t really fit, felt like it was forced into the book at the most random moments. i absolutely love reverse harems but this one…. yikes. if im being honest i skipped most of the spicy scenes. this book has potential…. good plot (even though it was easy to know the outcome in the end by the first few pages), good characters especially the men, but Saige??? jesus how many times are we going to hear ab her “thiccc a*s” and how curvy she is??? we get it, you dont have to mention it absolutely every time the boys talk ab her body. it just feels like they like her for that and that only. i found her extremely annoying. also… a random d*ddy kink thrown in there and is always being mentioned at the worst moments in the book??? really?? feels like this was written by a 15 year old on wattpad if im being honest.
