i bought these for a friend off their bridal registry. so i can only speak for the purchasing and shipping and first impression - i won't be using them myself, so i can't speak to their functionality.
they came packaged in styrofoam and their own box.. everything held up to shipping with no problem, no breakage.
i was surprised at how small they are, but again, i bought these off someone's registry so maybe this is exactly what they are looking for. :) i measured them and found that the measurements on the listing are a little bit off (some high, some low), but very close to accurate. here is what i found, and i measured the inner usable space, not to the outer edges:
large: 10.25” x 7.25”, depth 2”
small: 7.25” x 4.5”, depth 1.5”, i checked the capacity of the small one, and it holds 21 oz like the listing says, if you fill it very, very close to the brim. you wouldn't want to put that much food in it to bake, as i'm afraid it may overflow in the oven. :)
overall, very cute, and they look just like on the listing. the finish is shiny, and they look sturdy enough. they feel heavy to hold, which seems like a good sign for them to be ceramic, and to hold up in the oven. :)
