This book really packed a lot into the story. Marge's online dating experience. The subsequent murder of her date followed by the date's wife hiring CMC to solve the murder. The dead man's house break-in. Something rotten at the car dealership where the murdered guy worked. Cell Phone cases. (Wait...what?) Computer hacking...and craziest of all, Brad leaves the house and goes for a walk! Of course there's more too, but you need to read this terrific book and enjoy the zany adventures yourself! I loved it!
Ray delivers another great entry into the Charlie Cooper franchise! While Juiced is Number Seven in the series, each of the books really does well as a standalone. Fair warning: they will hook you though!
Meet Charlie Cooper, one-third of CMC Services, an undercover investigations firm. Think Stephanie Plum with back up. The girls are unwittingly embroiled in a murder when Marge's lowlife online date runs out to be married, then turns up dead. His wife, being the immediate suspect, needs the trio's help to find the real murderer. No problem, right?
Wrong! Charlie's boyfriend Alex is lead detective on the murder investigation. Sparks will be flying between these two, but they won't involve a roaring fire and a bottle of red! As the madcap trio wade the murky waters of car dealerships and online dating, Alex and Charlie keep butting heads. The girls really need this case to keep CMC afloat, but what will the cost be?
Ray has done it again with a fast-paced tale that keeps you jumping, both the mystery and the relationship will keep you turning pages. Looking forward to the next zany adventure!

Charlie, Marge, and Celeste of CMC Services are at it again with action, hacking, murder, laughs, and accidents as they try to find out who the murderer is before they become casualties of their investigation.
The girls have several suspects to question but no leads to whodunit. As usual, they clash with Alex as he carries on his investigation. The race is on. Who will figure it out first?
It was interesting to see that Charlie’s brother Brad came out of his shell and helped them with their investigation. Who would have thought that they could get more than a grunt from him.
I loved this book as much as the others in the series and can’t wait for the next one.
Marge is going out on a limb and taken up online dating. She believes she found her Romeo, even before their first date. Charlie's budding romance with Alex is progressing and Celeste is, well Celeste. Marge has her first date with her online Romeo and who shows up in the middle of it, his wife!!! There is of course a scene and somehow Marge and the wife start to bond. The next day Marge's date ends up dead and the widow hires CMS to find out who killed her husband and why. The trio find themselves in mucking their way thru the world of car dealerships and finance. Alex it's concerned they are going to ruin his murder case and also effect his and Charlie's relationship. In the meantime Charlie's mother has a new hobby having to do with cell phone covers, beads and other assorted do dad's that necessitate a disastrous trip to the mall, which may never be the same. Read along as CMC gets in and out of trouble until justice prevails.
This is the seventh book in a series, but like the others, it works fine as a standalone. I’ve only read 3 previous books, but this is a really fun series, and this installment doesn’t disappoint. It’s more of a caper than a cozy mystery, but like a good cozy, it’s clean, not gory, and the mystery takes precedence over the romance. It’s very funny and fast-paced, rather similar to a Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum book. I really love the relationship between Charlie and her besties/p.i. firm partners. Her romance with her detective boyfriend of course interferes a bit with her snooping, but the mystery is fun and satisfying to solve. I recommend this book and series. I was provided an arc of this book, but these opinions are my own.
I loved Deany Ray's latest Charlie Cooper book .... Juiced. As usual, the three friends get into all sorts of situations, but always manage to come out on top. Poor Marge .... her initial experience into online dating was a disaster. But typical of Marge, she comes out smiling and positive in the end. Celeste is still a bit of a mystery. We wonder what kind of hold she has over her ex-husband, the Chief of Police. Charlie manages to get out of all the scrapes she gets herself in, and her boyfriend, Alex, just shakes his head and tries to ignore the constant episodes of all three of the friends. One of the biggest surprises was to see how involved Charlie's brother, Brad, became in this story. If not for him, the three pals might not have been able to solve the crime. I highly recommend this series, and can hardly wait for the next book.
