How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The first chapter of They Call Me Princess reels the reader into the story. I enjoyed the first chapter so much I would like to see more fiction about these characters before the fall. The rest of the chapters are just as good, just a tad different. Think of the first chapter as a long prologue. The story takes place in a different area of the former US than the other novels in The Fallen World series. Princess lives in a location that has been cut off from the rest of the world due to hot spots. The area called the Bubble is in rather good shape considering what happened in most other places. Some of the higher level radiation zones may have cooled off. Princess, her brother, both Specialists, she is untrained due to reasons revealed in the story, and an Agent go exploring to see what lurks beyond the Bubble. On her journey. Princess learns about herself, her brother, the world outside the Bubble, and acquires some interesting friends. They Call Me Princess would be a good starting point to enter The Fallen World Series. It is also an outstanding first novel by J.P. Chandler.

3.0 out of 5 starsReminds me of a 1950's western

Princess keeps running off by herself and doing dumb things, which of course culminate in a fight against horrendous odds where she either gets rescued by her friends or triumphs thru blind luck. Plenty of action but really weak on plot. However, she is a rather engaging heroine.

I am a complete Fallen World virgin, as post-apocalyptic stories are not normally my thing, but I may just have to remedy that in the near future. The first time I read this book, I stayed up until 4:00 a.m. because I Could. Not. Put. It. Down. The characters are extremely well developed, and I really needed to make sure that Princess and company came out all right. I'm trying to take my time with the story this time so I don't miss anything. Do yourself a favor and read this book, then read it again. It's that good.

This is one of the better books I have read. It gives you the fun you want along with the action. The character is relatable and you feel yourself being reeled in. I found it hard to put down. Well done!

JP Chandler did a great job writing people I could get connected to. Even the bad guys are well built. Um, I mean are well written.
The story is in The Fallen World universe, and I can tell you it stands well on its own, as I have not read this series. I am going back to remedy that now. I hope the other writers are as good as this one.

Really enjoyed this one. I like how the forgotten world series is developing. The owner/lead editors are curating contributers pretty well, and I am very happy to read on. Have bought 13 volumes so far, only one was a bit sub-optimal, most are 4* or better.

It's thrilling to read about survivors in this fallen world. Scott and Princess were great characters, I enjoyed reading about how they handled their lives. A great book and I recommend reading it.

I’ve read all the Fallen World books so far and thoroughly enjoy them all. I appreciate that this one had a female protagonist as there have not much in the way of female leads in the series. It was a very entertaining and a quick read. Can’t wait for more of the Fallen World!!

I thought this was a great book! I would highly recommend. This is not usually my genre but I have to say that the story was well written, the characters fleshed out and believable and kept me turning pages to find out what would happen next! You won't be disappointed!

This was a fun book to read. I enjoyed the characters and couldn't wait to see what would happen next. If you are looking for an interesting post apocalyptic ride with strong characters, this book is for you.
