The best independently published Sci-Fi on the planet

The first time I read Fluency I was astounded by the vividness and relatability of the characters and by the richness and compelling nature of the story. (That pleasure did NOT diminish through numerous re-readings.)
All the characters (even the minor ones and the villains) are rich and believable and Ms. Wells makes them live in your mind and heart like real people. Maybe even more so.
The plot and the pacing make this a page turner that you can't put down. The only other science fiction books that have grabbed and held my imagination like these have are by Neil Stephenson, so you can see that Ms. Wells writes at a level achieved by few.
