To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Rapid Knowledge Acquisition & Synthesis is a great book about how to efficiently use new information you learn and apply skills to everyday life. The book goes in depth about a lot of topics, from avoiding failure to forming good goals to reading habits to elaboration.
I learned a lot from this book, such as the difference between the single loop learning and the double look learning. I also enjoyed reading about the various techniques and tricks to help us learn new things. Introducing variety into our learning methods is great and I will be using that one more often. Great break, highly recommended.
I purchased a kindle edition of Rapid Knowledge Acquisition for myself a week ago and upon finishing it I immediately bought a copy for my granddaughter who is a sophomore in college. I have spent many years on one side of the lectern or the other and am thrilled that such a clear reference to learning is available.
I like the "takeaways" part of the book. This helps to get a concise and clear understanding of the book. The book provides many tips, methods but lacks concrete examples to help put it in practice easily.
