So glad I opted to purchase the protection when I purchased the patio umbrella. Didn’t think that I would ever have to make a claim for replacement, but I thought for the price I would be a fool not to. I could not believe how expeditiously my claim was handled. By the next day I had a response that a check to cover the replacement of the umbrella would be forthcoming shortly. 👍🏻

This was suggested and offered by Amazon for a BBQ grill cover I bought, however, after getting the email and reading the exclusions, it states: "Damage caused by exposure to weather conditions, improper electrical/power supply, improper equipment modifications, add-on products or accessories, attachments or installation or assembly, collision with any other object, vandalism, animal or insect infestation, corrosion, battery leakage, act of nature (any accident caused or produced by any physical cause which cannot be foreseen or prevented, such as storms, perils of the sea, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes), or any other force majeure or peril originating from outside the Product;"
So, no matter what, this won't cover my BBQ grill cover unless I store my grill indoors, which negates the need for a BBQ grill cover.
I returned and got a refund.

I BOUGHT THIS WHEN I BOUGHT AN OUTDOOR PATIO UMBRELLA. MY GRANDSON KNOCKED OVER THE PATIO TABLE WHILE PLAYING WITH THE DOG AND BROKE THE UMBRELLA. FILLED OUT ALL THE FORMS, UPLOADED THE REQUIRED RECEIPT AND PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE. NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMEROUS TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE OR CALL BACK. RI9DICULOUSLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE ALLSTATE WOULD BE AFFILIATED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I purchased a patio umbrella, it was knocked by the wind and a few ribs got dislocated. I "smartly" purchased an accidental damage warranty on it. My claim was denied because the damage was caused by the weather and that's not considered accident.

It is impossible to get your claim processed. They have so many terms and conditions in a small print that they always found a way how to reject you.

I spent more than an hour with them, multiple chats and they always bring more and more requirements to approve my claim. Not worth of my time to argue about $40 for my umbrella but I will remember to never buy their plan.

5yr warranty , for the price paid should cover general issues ; fading tears etc. I always buy them because if I don't I'll need one but this one was wasted , now, I can't use the cover and they won't replace it after only having it less than 6 months.
Just saying some things we have to read the whole freaking warranty pdf for. Buyer beware
