To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Both the words and illustrations are amateurish. The phraseology is strange (ESL maybe?). Honestly, it’s an awkward read. Example: “Some might say we’re a different race. We think that’s completely ace.” Me: What does that even mean?
Fabulous little book for children of all ages! In today's world where grown-ups are demonstrating and waving placards at each other; this gentle little book shows how children just 'get it'. They accept each other for who they are as individuals; ignorant of creed, colour, race, beliefs and financial status. They, and this subtly-messaged book, can teach us all a thing or two. Brilliant for my diverse brood.
Nice pictures and a wonderful message. I think it's a shame that the poetry let's is down a bit. Is it too much to ask that a children's poetry book should both rhyme and scan? However, a wonderful story about diversity.
This engaging book encourages kids (young and old ) on every page to remember, and for some of us rediscover, a simple fact in our complex world: we are amazing. Great artwork, great writing, love the book
A delightful book that sensitively tackles the issues faced by children sometimes struggling to feel at home in the modern world. Nicely illustrated with heartfelt poetry that will provoke thought in both child and adult alike.
