Appropriate for ages 5 to 8 fun book!

I bought this book for my nephew who turned 7 this year. With ongoing pandemic, my nephew has been bored in the home. So I thought maybe getting him some sort of fun and educational purpose book would be good idea. Definitely my nephew enjoyed reading this book. It has good quality and good organization. It is divided into different chapters with different themes. Also my nephew liked their illustrations and some fun facts in between the chapters. I would not mind to recommend this book to anyone who has kids in home and looking for some good activities to read.

Not good for young kids to read on their own

The "fun" illustrations are creepy and the answers are not with the questions, not good for my five year old nephew. All black and white except the cover. Not a good choice for a young child.

This has become an after-dinner (or dinner is taking way too long) activity. Our 4 year old sometimes figures them out immediately. Most we figure out together or ask him questions to get him to the answer.

It’s great to read along with him and see how he tries to figure out the answer. He has fun while learning some critical thinking skills! Answers are included just in case everyone gets stumped!

I like the illustrations in this book, nice and simple and cleanly done.
I Also like that this is an interactive book that makes it good for adults to take on trips to help keep kids occupied in the car or while waiting in an airport terminal.

Some of these riddles were really quite simple....but that's why I think this would be great for young kids, they aren't too difficult. Some may even challenge an adult.

Over all...it's a cute, well-done book.

I have 11 grandkids who love jokes and riddles. This will surely make sure I'm always prepared!
For me, when I'm the one asking the riddle, I wish I had the answer right there, so I can deliver it with the right timing. If the kids are the ones reading them, I'm glad they can't see the answer right away so they have to think about it. Can't win, I guess. lol

I was actually surprised the book had more content than I though it would have for the price it sells for. Overall a fun book to share time with the kids. Some of the questions and riddles are a bit hard, but I liked that especially because my older kids could join in on the fun too. Nice job!

With only being able to see Grandkids by FaceTime I ordered this book for them and us. When Face-timing we take turns reading and solving the riddles. We all really enjoyed solving the phrases in Chapter 4. Wish they would do a whole book like chapter 4.
