Quiet Performance but
Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2021
These fans are really quiet and they move a lot of air. The performance to noise ratio is really really good! Surprisingly good, honestly. The looks side is the real downer here. The colors do not move, at all. As shown in the pic is how they stay, all the time, and you can't change it. There is no way to dim or have them pulse or rainbow or anything that makes RBG fun. They are color locked. Another downside in the looks department is the cable management situation of these... the fan to motherboard connector is fine, but it has a big Molex jumpered off the back of that fan connecter making it a huge eyesore for any fan connection outside of the far edge of the motherboard. The way around it is a) use the Molex power for the fan, but then you'd have no fanspeed control, or b) use wirecutters and clip the Molex off, which is what I had to do. To remove that Molex connector safely, I had to de-pin the fan connector, which requires specialty tools, then physically cut the wire off and reinsert the pins into the correct hole on the fan connector. The dangerous part of all this, is that it comes with no warning at all that you cannot connect all 5 fans to 1 connector without a motherboard designed to handle more than 1A draw through the connector, and most motherboards are not designed for that. I would absolutely not connect more than 3 fans to one, but you can't even do this if you remove the Molex, as that's what jumpers the fans together. I'm really happy with these fans performance, I just wish there was a way to turn the lights off or change them in some way, and I wish there was a way to daisy chain them without using the big Molex connector.
