Works like a charm. Just add batteries (not supplied) and point and shoot. No programming, no nothing, and it works just like the original. As an added bonus, I got my TV working with the WiFi again, after over a year of having to connect a Chromecast dongle. Not due to the replacement remote directly, but it helped! Would definitely buy again.

Does not work on all TV models listed

I ordered this as a replacement for our vizio tv. Based on the reviews no programing was necessary but the one we recieved did not work and manual is not included. So after doing alot of research, YouTube and customer support there isn't much you can do to get it to work if it doesnt work straight out of the package. Very disappointed since our tv was listed as one of the models it's for.

Lost my remote somewhere. I was using a smartphone app to control the television which worked ok but not the most convenient way. Then, without thinking, I reset my television because of a problem with an update. With no remote and no way to connect the app because you need a remote to set up the wifi my television was completely useless! This remote came within 2 days of order and was a perfect replacement! put the batteries in and it was controlling my television with no pairing, programming or setup required. Less expensive than the vizio brand replacement and pretty much identical in build and format.

But when I couldn't switch from watching TV to watching a DVD, I knew it was the remote. Replacing it was easy, setting it up took less than 5 minutes and all for less than ten bucks. Exactly the same as the remote that came with my TV. You may need to power cycle or soft boot your TV so it syncs properly, but otherwise no issue. Had a broken remote one day and two days later had the exact same replacement.

Just pull off the little tape that is on the remote at the bottom and you’ll see the official “Vizio” imprint.
