5.0 out of 5 starsgreat read with spice.

Really like the level of spice in this book and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Love the characters interactions and the level of commitment they all have to FMC and each other. So far very descriptive and of the new world that has been created.

I really loved this book BUT the author rambled too much and confused the ever loving neck out of men with introducing all men that I doubt I ever will know or care who each one is! There is so much to explain about 6 or 7 men that hardly anything progresses in the story. Why is Isabella having sex w one of her monsters when a rescued victim is suppose to be arriving at the institute? Why is Isabella having another sexy time whenever there are humans attacking the center? Yes, I am so there for her connecting w her monsters but she seems like the type to do what's right and put work before her men. It ends on a cliffhanger. I read a sample of book two and it sounds like more rambling, I really do adore the concept of this but just too much rambling, talking, inner dialogue, stories that happened before hand, it's just like I'm screaming tell a story!!!!! I will not continue on w the series. Also, I don't know about anyone else but I forget stuff from book to book so i read series after they are done bc if I don't stay in the series it just doesn't do me or the series any good. 4.99 to 5.99 Times four not a good idea either, it's actually insulting to readers to put a book out and then have to wait to see where it goes and nobody got time to reread! Put one really great book out that would total your 3 or 4 short books and yeah I would pay for that 1 book! I read good series and then how am I suppose to know another book came out? I read for fun not work like researching and stalking author's and books. There are these things called work, children, husbands, cleaning, cooking, family that come first. Think quality over quantity!

If you’re thinking about reading this series, quit thinking and just do it. It sounded different and I need a different as I felt like I was in a rut but this book and this series Is awesome. At first, I was having some problems getting into it but by the first chapter I was hacked and now I’ve gotta go so I can grab the next book.

I need a harem of nightmares/monsters, stat. 👀😂
In all seriousness, I freakin loved this book. This is 100% what I was hoping it would be and I am crossing my fingers and toes that there will be more delicious, dangerous, monstery goodness in my near future.

Arabella’s harem is a bit larger than the harems I’m used to, NO judgment here, but it does get hard to keep the guys straight sometimes - especially when some of them take a backseat in the first novel. It’s even harder to keep the type/monster form aligned; they’re unique but also all growly overprotective, mega dangerous, violent nightmares and sometimes it’s like “wait… what is his form again? What’s his power?” But this is a *minor* complaint because I found myself ironically not caring most of the time; all I cared about was they were 110% devoted and aggressively protected her and Damn if I don’t want that for myself lol.

The Nightmare classing and hierarchy structure is fascinating, and I’m glad that they explain stuff either during their internal dialogue or introducing/explaining it to the new team member. ISS is cool as hell offering safety and refuge as well as jobs and community; MAM is the predictably biased, narrow-minded hate-filled human organization treated as their counterpart. We don’t get a ton of background but we know they torture children and kill innocent nightmares so it’s safe to say they’re the actual villains and I freakin love when the dangerous killing machines are the underdogs that need help.

I’m running out of steam because I finished this late so the TLDR is I really loved this and I can’t wait to start the second one after I’ve gotten some sleep 😅

Arabella is such a fun character. Literally fearless even when faced with the scariest of all monsters, yet soft and sweet.

The thing with this book was it took me at least 15 pages in to not abandon this book. Usually, reading M. Sinclair, books it takes her a minute to pull you in and when she does it on an poppin... She knows how to capture you and entertain you. However, it took my girl a bit to long to get me there this time, but I'm glad I stuck with it and give myself a chance to get to know these characters and what they were all about.

I will say this first book of the series was all about character development and the group dynamic of our MC Arabella's harem of alpha males and how they came to find her.

So, now I expect book two will have more meat and grit to this building storyline from the change of pace in the last three chapters of this book.!

So with being said I off to jump into the next book of the series.. byeeee for now!😜✌

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books I have ever read!

This is one of the best books I have ever read!!

Soothing Nightmares was one of the most original and unique stories I have ever had the absolute pleasure of reading. I mean, what it must be like to be in brilliant mind of M. Sinclair...wowza! Just an absolute masterpiece!

I was so completely captivated and consumed from the very beginning. To see a story come to life that introduces what it’s like if the ‘monsters under the bed’ were real. To have a war brewing under the surface as bigoted humans realize that these Nightmares are very real and have been around since the beginning of time.

Arabella is an incredible lead female character! I loved that she was confident and unafraid, that she accepted the Nightmares for who they were. She didn't try to change them or sham them for being completely who they are. And her connection with her team was so beautiful, intense and lust-filled. They were all so intricately bonded on a deep level. Her Nightmares were all so unique. The stories behind the various types of Nightmares was so interesting! M. Sinclair did a wonderful job describing them each in detail that was so descriptive it was like I could picture them right in front of me.

I fell hard for Arabella's Nightmares! They intrigued me so much that it was impossible to stop reading! I genuinely cannot wait for more of this series. I have never read anything like this before and I am craving more of this story like my next breath!
