I'll start off by saying this hardcover feels solid and the art is just about spot on. My reasoning for the three star (and I should've done more digging and maybe a little less drinking) is when I bought this, I thought I'd be written by the same people that actually does the show. I've never heard of Zac Gorman before. Yes he could have done amazing things before, I'm just not huge into comic books to know anything about him. After reading up to page 11 I believe, I've noticed it wasn't from the minds of J.R. and D.H. That did stand out to me. I'm not bashing the book (I've only read up to part 4) really, I did have a couple of chuckles. Its just rather bland, feels like a knock off of Rick and Morty more then "the stories in between". Personally it seems lazy over using the "burps and aw geez" etc. I'll finish the book soon and if it's better I'll definitely update my review. I just won't be holding by breath. And I actually dropped it two stars for not having the sound chip. I wouldn't buy a car with no tires in it...
