Honoring Hudson is another dynamite book in the Surrender series. The D/s couple, Hudson and Cindy, are interesting and well suited. They have their own sets of triumphs and frustrations as they figure out the dynamics of their relationship.
Cindy is perky woman that greets all the Surrender members with cheery banter and a smile. She never sets foot inside the club and seemingly has no interest in kink. Master Hudson was drawn to her from the first moment he saw her and finds any excuse to engage in conversation with her. She's always polite but reticient. She harbors a huge secret. One that she was traumatized over and suffered deep humiliation. Once Hudson discovers the secret he goes all out to indulge Cindy and make her every fantasy come true.
This wonderful story is about Cindy and Hudson. Cindy has a big secret. (Sorry, I’m not going to tell you the secret – you’ll just have to read the book to find out.) Hudson is definitely alpha swoon-worthy book-boyfriend material! And the dynamic between the two characters is fabulous!
Becca Jameson is a fantastic author and certainly knows how to put a book together to fascinate the reader. It is sizzling HOT! I have read all the other stories in this series and have loved every single one. I have to say, I think this one is by far the best. I highly recommend this book (and all the other books in the series)!
Cindy has a secret, a big secret that she can't share with anyone. Hudson's a deep desire to get to know Cindy, however she's skittish. Cindy finally decides to use her membership and let Hudson in. Until her worst fear comes true. Just the right amount of everything Surrender. Grab the book today, you won't be sorry.
Indeed another Daddy little romance at club Surrender. The author definitely writes a lot of this dynamic. She seems to do it quite well with unique situations. I enjoy the writing style and both points of view. Also, I like a series with recurring characters. Well done.
I was excited to read Honoring Hudson. I’ve loved all the books in the Surrender series and I was especially interested in Hudson’s story. I was also intrigued by Cindy – to have a job as she does but to never have played or participated in the club seemed odd to me.
Cindy was such a complex character. She had hidden trauma that shaped the person she was to the outside world, as well as, the little she is in private. I loved how supportive Hudson was. He provided unconditional love with no judgement. He even asked for help from someone “outside” so he and Cindy are able to move forward in their dynamic.
I liked the progression of the story, the apology, the animal rescue, and the happily ever after. In my opinion, the world needs more men like Hudson.
Cindy has been working at the club now for seven years and even though she works on the front desk and has full admittance to the facilities she has never once actually played with any of the Masters that are members. Hudson is a Dom and a member of the club Surrender which he has attended for a number of years, he is well known in the club as an excellent Master that is extremely well known for his skills dominating both males and females behind the doors. As they continue talking with each other whilst Cindy is running the front reception, he realises that his attraction for this beautiful, quiet and somewhat secretive female still continues to blossom and as they say “All good things come to those that wait. Hudson discovers that Cindy is in fact hiding a secret that he is amazed he had not spotted and as he has started to have deeper feelings for his Algebra student/sub he realises that the feelings he has for her have grown even deeper. Cindy has dreamed for years of finding her own Daddy but has never in all the years since the death of her husband expected her deepest desire to happen. As the story continues to open and their relationship grows it all seems to be going well and then a nemesis from her past causes her untold grief and she is almost on the verge of running, will Hudson be able to wield his Dom persona and reign her in, or possibly run the risk of losing this wonderful woman.? I loved the read it was simply wonderful, the characters and the plot keep you riveted to the screen and there is no way you can put this book down until you discover the outcome. It does not disappoint and you will be left earnestly waiting for the next book in this series. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Master Hudson has been flirting with Cindy for months, spending as much time with her as he can each night the club is open without looking suspicious.
Cindy is the receptionist for Surrender, she's never played there although as an employee she has a full membership. She likes that Hudson always stops and talks to her for a while before entering the main club. On this particular occasion he asks how school is going and Cindy is a bit upset. It seems she can't get a grasp on Calculus the last course she needs to graduate. Fortunately that's a subject Hudson knows well and he offers to tutor her. She accepts his offer and almost backs out, but she knows it's her only chance to pass the course.
Now Cindy is attracted to him and she thinks he's attracted to her as well. It definitely takes a bit of courage to ask him to dominate her at Surrender.
Submitting to Hudson wasn't going to be a one time thing and Cindy and Hudson start going on real dates as well. Hudson knows there's something more she's hiding but he's willing to wait until she tells him what it is.
When Cindy's past comes to the door of Surrender in the form of Davis Marcum who's apparently come for a tour of the club. She panics and runs home. When Hudson arrives and finds she's left without taking her bag or her phone he's concerned and decides to bring her things to her.
This is when Hudson learns her secret, she's a closet little with an imaginary Daddy/Dom.
Hudson is the perfect Daddy/Dom for Cindy, even if at first he feels he has some big shoes to fill. He gets it and even with some changes she invents for situations he's loving, attentive and strict.
There's challenges of course and this is a journey for both of them. I think this is my favorite book of the series so far.
Hudson is a Dom and a member of the club Surrender. Cindy is the receptionist for Surrender but has never played there. Hudson is attracted to Cindy and has been flirting with her for months. When Cindy needs help with Calculus the last course she needs to graduate Hudson offers to tutor her. She accepts his offer and almost backs out, but she knows it's her only chance to pass the course. As their relationship blossoms Cindy gets up the nerve to ask Hudson to dominate her but she still is holding back a secret. Will Hudson discover that secret? Will these two get a HEA? I really enjoyed this book. It was well-written with complex characters and an enjoyable storyline. Cindy and Hudson had sizzling chemistry and made a great couple. The story had D/s relationship, emotions, passion and plenty of steam. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Hudson has been working on getting Cindy to open up to him since he moved to the area and started attending Surrender. He got a break when Cindy mentioned she was having a hard time with calculus, which he was very familiar with, and offered to tutor her. Eventually Cindy started showing her submissive side to Hudson and even agreed to do some private scenes with him in the club, even though she vowed never to show her most secret side to anyone ever again. Hudson eventually got a look at her closet and new just wha she needed, but he wasn't sure if he was going to be the one to give it to her, but he was willing to try, the big question is, was she willing, or was her past too much to overcome. Great read. Can't wait for the next in the series.
