I've used fasting to address some medical issues as well as weight control for several years now. Particularly when I traveled a lot for work, weight control was difficult. Fasting worked for me but the learning curve was a bit steep as most books overly complicate the issue. Turned out for me the best approach came from the Orthodox Church.
This book would have made it much easier. Detail instructions including a ketogenic version are included. While Josh favors the 8.16 version, it would be easily adapted to 5-2 day pattern. Strongly recommend if you are considering fasting for controlling weight, blood sugar, etc.
This is a wonderfully clear, concise, and complete book on intermittent fasting (IF). I’ve sought out and read many books on this subject. The authors here did a great job at presenting it in a manner that, when I concluded the book, left me with the feeling and knowledge that I could immediately initiate my own IF plan.
