💗What A beautiful rollercoaster of a story

Such an amazing read. There are so many layers to peel back in this rich world filled with complex characters. How to untie many mistruths about one person, and heal a fractured family. Family is at the core of this gem, both by blood and choice. It definitely made me feel ALL the feels, and had me cheering for our resilient main character every step.of the way.

It was good to begin, but It just went on and on. I ended up skimming the last 4 or 5 chapters. At a certain point there was no furthering of the plot. it was all repetitive cheerleading for the impossibly talented and perfect heroine.

I really enjoyed the story, the exploration of dysfunctional families and the threads that connect people were fascinating. The capacity for the main character for forgiveness and love made me think about how I deal with people in my own life. My problem and maybe this was because I was reading it on Kindle, was the editing and the flow. Sometimes I had to go back and reread because it felt like it changed very abruptly.

GREAT new Jennifer Ryan contemporary romance....Sarah thinks she knows what a family is but is forced to totally redefine what she thinks.....not all the women in this story are very lovable but the nosey next-door neighbor might make it worth the stress.
