In all honesty I took a star off only because I felt like I was missing some of the story. Was there a prequel I should have read before this book? I loved the world and Trent, even though I spent a good portion of the first half of the book screaming at him in my head.

I tried to listen to the audio while I read but the narrator was robotic and lacking any sort of feeling so I ditched the audio before the first chapter was even complete.

Over all I really liked the story and the world and I would absolutely continue reading the series. I just still wonder did I miss a prequel? I really want the story of how they ended up with her getting the mating mark in the first place. 🤷‍♀️

This was my first Daddy book with a “Little” and I realize that twist isn’t my thing. Typically I like stronger heroines so I found Harley’s baby act annoying. Likewise I felt Trent was oddly immature and irresponsible for the hero Daddy.

Besides the trope, I also found the writing awkward. The dialogue is unnatural, the descriptions are often repetitive and there are several places where words are used incorrectly, all problems that could be solved by using a good editor. I think if this was your preferred kink style, this could be made a much better story.

The story was good. It is Kinky. I did think the characters were not strong for what they wanted. Trent didn't stand up to his father. I do understand when you get back to your own home base the family relationships change how you act. Then Harley knows how dangerous the trip was, but still didn't behave. They did realize what they need to do and that love was worth the fight.

What occurs afterward was an engaging story as Trent tries to find the way to keep his Little in this enjoyable alien romance story that I volunteer to read and review.

I've read this book several times and I love it more with every iteration. Listening to this in audio was just icing on the cake of awesome. Or creamer in the cup of coffee? I know Stella is a coffee girl, so maybe that is better. Seriously, if you love sci-fi and age play romance novels, you should check this book out! Buy everything she writes so she can afford to feed my addiction!! Seriously, buy this already!

The story was great, I loved it. It was different and written well. I listened to most of it, but the narrator was choppy the way he read and I didn't enjoy the different voices. I ended up reading the last few chapters and it seemed much more authentic.
