Ultimate Guard and Dragon Shield are the best sleeves for trading cards. They shuffle well and do not wear out anywhere near as quickly as cheaper sleeves.
PS, Japanese size sleeves are for Yugioh, smaller cards. For Magic, Pokémon, etc. get standard size sleeves.
Pros for Ult Guard Katana (this product specifically):
I actually prefer the feel of these sleeves in hand slightly more than Dragon Shield because Dragon Shields become rough on the edges pretty fast (more of a feel preference, both sleeve makers are top notch).
Cons:
Another reviewer mentioned this, but double-sleeving, or inserting cards with perfect fit sleeves, inside these is definitely a chore. It’s harder to double sleeve with these compared to Dragon Shield sleeves, but not impossible. You just have to be extra careful.
Minor complaint, I wish there were more colors available.
Overall, 100% recommended if you plan on playing Japanese sized cards in public or away from home.
I do recommended getting inner sleeves in case the cards slip out from being dropped.
