I didn't think having a cellphone pouch inside the inner liner would be very beneficial. I also wasn't sure if I would like the cotton design since I assumed it would become much heavier as I sweat. I was wrong on both counts.

These are quality shorts and I plan on buying more (I have 4 so far). The shorts do get heavier as you sweat. But even after a long workout, it never was noticeable until I took them off and felt how much sweat had been absorbed. At this point, I don't know about durability or colorfastness; however, will update this review should I find an issue.

Being able to have a cellphone inside the inner liner was very convenient. When running, I never felt it could fall out and the pouch is big enough for my iPhone 11 Max with case. There are also pockets to put other things and with other running shorts I've owned, I've always been concerned that something could fall out without noticing. The depth of the pockets on these shorts greatly mitigate that feeling.

Seams in the crotch?

These shorts have the inner compression shorts lining. Some genius decided that the thing people need the most is for the compression shorts lining to have hard seams in the front and back of the crotch on the inside of the shorts. You don’t need to walk more than five steps to figure out how uncomfortable that can become over a few miles or throughout a workout. The shorts also ride low a little low on the ass, but not in the front. I’m not sure if they were not cut accurately to the pattern or if they were not stitched properly. There are a number of crooked seams and they do not look like there is enough quality control in the factory.
That’s the last time I buy shorts because they look like a good deal.

Awesome find and purchase. These fit as expected. I’m 5’10” 185 lbs. I purchased the smalls and these fit really good. Comfortable for both Olympic and CrossFit style sessions. Running in them is awesome with the pocket for your phone.

Good for the gym, not for runners

These come bigger than you would expect. The outer material is akin to hospital gown material while the “inner shorts” are very thin and not really compression shorts. There is a phone pocket on them but it is too shallow for an iPhone X which falls out while running. These may be good in the gym, but I don’t recommend them when running.

These shorts are a great value. They are a breathable mesh type fabric with a liner. The liner has a cell phone pocket as well, which is why I bought them. For reference, I am 5' 8" with a 34 inch waist. I usually get size L but followed the size chart and ordered the medium. They fit great if you're used to basketball shorts. These shorts are perfect for working out. If you're an average guy like myself and needs something to hit the gym quick, these are perfect for the price. I do prefer the TBMPOY shorts, also purchased on amazon, but they do not have the inside liner with cell phone pocket.

Fits large, but very comfortable

These are nice, basic 2-in-1 shorts. The liner is soft and comfortable--not a real compression short. I bought L based on the size charts, which is much closer in size to the XL gear I have from major brands, so it runs a little large. I can easily see myself buying more.

These shorts are good (not great!). They fit true to standard sizing from other other clothing I buy of that size. I did find the inner shorts (BTW, they're just spandex they're not "compression" inner shorts) to be "cut" a little irregularly making it a little tight in the crotch and not "hang" properly when worn - kind of riding down in the front at first. After a couple of times (days) wearing them they did "break-in" and fit and feel fine now.

These fit just fine - I’m 5’10, 170/175 and went with medium. They’re comfortable, they stay put, and the liner pocket works well. Compared to another brand (pinkbomb), these are less expensive but are missing two features. 1 - a small zipper pocket which is great for putting a house/car key in when out for a run. 2 - a pre-made hole for running a headphones cable through and into the phone. This isn’t too important since most of us have BT headphones nowadays.

Anyway, if these shorts had a little zipper pocket, I’d rate them 5 stars. Very nice choice though.

Little baggier than expected

These are a solid 4/5 star investment for the price. If you’re in a pinch, these are great. At the same time, for running shorts, their far too long and the liner is too loose. Feels more like a trimmed basketball short than a running short. Luckily, even though the liners a bit loose, the liner pocket for your phone still secured my phone well.

The liner in these shorts is very thin. Also the shorts themselves over the liners are very baggy. I ordered Medium and they were too flowy and loose making them not look very appealing. I'm 5'10 185. around the waist they were fine but the overall look was not good. Sending them back as they just aren't for me.
