Great for a work light, but the flicker and camera roll on video is serious. If you plan to run a timelapse camera or make any video with this light in the room, it will ruin it. This is typical of inexpensive A/C powered LED lights from anywhere, but if you didn't know, now you know.

I put these around my horse stall and pointed towards wash rack. The light is bright and we were actually able to perform a surgical procedure on one of the horses because lighting was so good.
**Update it’s been 5 months and 1 of the lights quit working. It’s a shame because they put out great lighting.
*** update now 7mos and the other one is now blown. Completely sheltered under a roof so not sure why they keep blowing out. I was notified by company that they’d replace but I haven’t received anything and it’s been 2 months.

I installed it in my backyard. Happy with the price and brightness but unfortunately, one of the lights died within a day. Since Amazon 30 days the returns window closed, I could not replace it via Amazon and it said 18 months manufacture warranty but do not know how to contact and get a replacement. I give this product 2 out of 5. I spent money to install with a an electrical company on the outdoor wall and now I need to spend again to take it down. Can you let me know how to connect with manufacture?

Excellent product for the price. Trying to get a similar product at Depot or other brick and mortar stores will set you back at least 120$ for one light. These are super bright and easy to mount. I cut the wires at the little finger switch and hardwired them after an initial test.. Would definitely recommend and will be getting another set.

Great replacement for halogen work lights

I have several sets of old work light stands that held two halogen lights and the bulbs were hot, fragile, and not cheap. Instead of ordering more old bulbs, I thought I would give a set of these a try and am so far pleased with the results with a few modifications.

The old work light stands are the kind with three folding legs and a telescopic mast to raise the light bar high where two units are affixed. Swapping the old lamps with a set of these is simple except for one issue: as they are built, the mounting brackets on the LED lamps cannot rotate 360-degrees around the light body (you can't swing the mount all the way around). The outside face of the body is larger than the bracket width. If you try to mount these with the bracket vertically down (clamped to the top of the stand's light bar) and the lamp pointing horizontally straight ahead, you can only adjust the light upwards.

I need these to angle up and down so I bend the bracket wide enough to fit around the lamp body. Then, I used some longer socket cap screws and added a few washers on each side where the mounting bracket is affixed to the sides of the lamp. This way the bracket is out far enough to where I can rotate the lamp up and down. See the attached photo - simple and cheap fix.

I intend to use these in my shop and outside this fall/winter to illuminate my child's soccer field. They are VERY bright and big. If you have an old set of work lights on a stand and want to do the same conversion, check the distance between mount points on your stand to ensure these fit. If they do and you're willing to tinker a bit, you shouldn't be disappointed. I am so pleased with the results that I will order another set to convert more work lamps from halogen to LED.

I installed 2 of these on the back of my house, replacing 2 Halogen 300 Watt fixtures. I screwed them to the house, cut the plugs and switches off and then ran the wire into a 1 gang cover with a waterproof fitting. They are much brighter and use 400 watts less. In addition, the old bulbs burned out frequently and they are 2 stories up and a total pain to change. Hopefully these LEDs will last much longer.

This is the second set of lights that I have purchased from this company & I’m just as satisfied as I was with the first set. I installed these lights on both sides of my house where there wasn’t much light. They are true waterproof, easy to mount & have done an amazing job keeping both side yards completely lit. To adjust these lights you will need an Allen wrench. I also use these lights & the other set that I purchased with smart plugs & they are set to come on along with all of my other outside lights. I would absolutely recommend these! A+

I was attracted to the listing originally by the 100w rating though I never had something that used so much power before (usually 20-40w). I have to say these might be a tad too bright for certain jobs as you CAN'T point it to the middle of the room as you'll be blinded passing by. Point it to the wall and you'll have a great amount of light to work in. That being said, it's not a true work light. I got distracted and see that it has a swivel mounting bracket but no real stand or carry handle. If you put it outside to illuminate a house or tree - that it's what it's designed for but for work reasons, just have to use the bracket as your carry handle.

Only time will tell how long it would last but after going through at least a dozen other "permanent" LED lights from Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Lowes and other suppliers - I don't have any real confidence this would last for years and years. Still the price for 2 of these for about the same for what others would charge, it is still a bargain.

These are really BIG and really BRIGHT [Actually Great for Studio Lighting :) ]

The one thing that surprised me is the size of these things. They are physically bigger than a 10in iPad!!! They are also very, very BRIGHT!!! You notice in one of the pics I have a piece of paper clamped onto the front to diffuse the lighting. You don't want to have the light flooding you directly. Unless, of course, you are using these as outdoor flood lamps, which I suppose is a good application for these are IP-66 water resistant (supposedly).

I bought these as a green screen studio lighting and, to my surprise, they actually work. So good in fact that I have to trim the camera aperture a bit to dim the exposure as the green background starts to over-saturate into light (whitish) green and it gets harder to chroma key it out.

The other thing I observed is these things produce a lot of heat!! Good thing these babies are built solid with aluminum chassis and heat sink fins on the back which draws out the heat efficiently.

Last thing, I like the fact that they have a built-in ON/OFF switch, which is pretty handy, instead of unplugging the things every so often which you would actually be doing if these used as a studio backlighting.
