I am working on being a science fiction and fantasy writer and been looking for more materials to help with understanding people. This book helped that out by explaining the reasons for why people do things. I am happy I got it.
Great practical way to understand all psychological triggers. It would have been 5 stars if there were converted into a set of practical techniques to use in our daily interactions and thinking. Nevertheless, a good read if you are interested in the topic.
Recent events such as riots, demonstrations, and the sheeple movement are hard to understand. In this book, Peter Hollins digs down to shed real insight into why we act the ways we do. I believe that understanding ourselves and others better is not only necessary but will help us make the world a bit easier to navigate.
Great overview of what drives human thought and action and the triggers behind that. Several great points that really made me reflect such as knowing you've been in uncertain situations before (and knowing you got through them) and being aware of your triggers and acknowledging them when they start to appear.
