As a teacher, I want all my students to find books they enjoy reading. While this book may not challenge many of my 5th graders (as it is a fairly easy read), it is a favorite among my students. I have many students who come in hating to read. One of my main goals is to just get a book in their hands and their eyes on print. These graphic novels do the trick for many of them.
