Two Hearts’ Christmas Gift is a lovely story about two young people, Liam and Renee, who meet and fall in love when they are just seventeen years old. Each has a specific plan for their life. Renee plans to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a surgeon and Liam plans to join the Air Force. During the short time they spend together over the Christmas holiday, Liam rescues Renee from nearly freezing to death in a snowstorm and helps her to work through the horrible incident that ultimately left her out in the cold. After the holiday, Liam and Renee separate ways to follow/chase down their dreams/careers.
Just over eight years or so later, Liam and Renee reunite and sparks fly. Everything goes great until an enemy from the past decides to step in. Liam is sent back overseas on a mission. Unfortunately, he returns home with a severe injury. This time, it is Renee to the rescue.
This story involves an emotional and touching journey for both the hero and heroine. A story of love and hope, and the sacrifices made to follow dreams. But, with hard work and persistence, you can have it all! Just ask Liam and Renee.
Love, Love, Love this author. Tamara Ferguson has a unique talent bringing the devastating trauma of wounded soldiers front and center by mingling them with heart warming romance and happy endings…all while bringing honor and respect to the US military. Her stories subtly reminds us of the sacrifices wounded warriors make every day.

An emotional touching story with relatable wounded characters (Liam and Renee), a small town Midwest setting (Crystal Rock, Wisconsin), page turning twist and turn plot, gut wrenching difficulties faced by both Liam and Renee, and a satisfying resolution. New author to this avid reader. As a retired high school teacher I understand young love and difficulties couples face as they plan their futures. Two characters that grow and reach their HEA.
Liam and Renee meet when her parents go to Crystal Rock on vacation during Christmas break. Liam and Renee both have their future planned out already and romance wasn't part of the plan. Renee and Quinn, Liam's twins sister have become close friends and Quinn wants Liam to take Renee to the Christmas Dance 💃.

I fell in love with these characters from the very first pages. When they were teenagers, Renee Deveraux met Liam McAllister in Dragonfly Pointe. They were teenagers who had their lives planned, Renee as a doctor and Liam a career in the Air Force. As they grew close during her visit, Liam rescued Renee when she was attacked. He saved her life and encouraged her to report her attacker. That visit, for Renee and Liam, became precious memories as they moved on with their lives. Liam joined the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and Renee achieved her ambition of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Year later, when they meet again, will they still feel the intense attraction they once felt? Their hopes for marriage, children and a future may be in danger from a long-forgotten adversary. When Liam returns from his last mission overseas, a mission he almost didn’t survive, can they find the peace and love they have fought so hard for? A beautiful love story, again mentioning previous characters that add such a “family” feel to this series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. Tamara Ferguson is one of my favourite writers. As soon as you start reading, you become one with her characters. You understand the concern of the parents when Liam and Renee “found” each other, because the were both very young. However, they were depicted as people of strong character, devoted in their love for each other, while working hard to accomplish their dreams. It looked impossible for them to ever be together and life happened. Not a boring minute usually in msFerguson’s writings, and not in this one either. I love how the respect and honor for our military, gets a special place, as it is needed for outsiders to know how devastating, life altering situations those guys go through, away from their loved ones, some paying the ultimate price. I take my hat of to the courageous wives, girlfriends, and children these heroes have, wearing many hats, so that we can live in peace. It comes with a price. Thank you !
I love Tamara's books. She writes about wounded warriors and all the trials they go through. It brings the book to life like you are there with them. Liam and Renee met at Dragonfly Inn, since their parents knew each other they planned events with each other while she and her parents were there on Christmas vacation. But something happened to Renee and that brought them closer together. Even they would be going their separate ways, fate was sure to bring them back together. After 8 years they meet up again in New York at his sister's apartment where he sees Renee again. Some things are meant to be. But what eventually brings them full circle is heartbreaking and something from the past comes to light. HEA.
