I really enjoyed this book. It's the sixth in the series and I loved that the author didn't have the main problem be about explaining g=how the hero becomes a wolf. It's more relationship problems.
Rand works construction so when a house near his is occupied by a new owner it's news because the house should have been condemned. Natalie has inherited the home and it's rent-free so she's home. She knows it will take a lot to make it livable but she has no idea of the cost of remodeling a home. She thinks she can do it on tips.
Rand met Natalie when he was younger but never felt anything for her but now he can't live without her but he comes on too soon and she knows he doesn't love her. What woman wants to be in a state of lust instead of love, no one. She can't stay with him but he's okay for a while.
Natalie knows what Rand is but she doesn't get the wolf thing even though she wants to cuddle his wolf.
This was another good book in the series. I don't know if it's the last one but I hope not, Nash needs his story. This one was Rand's (wolf shifter) and Natalie's (human woman) story. This story was a little different than the other stories in this series in that Natalie knew about the wolf shifters. So did her Uncle Adam, whom she inherited the ranch from. You'll have to read the book to find out how they knew. Natalie had a huge problem with love because of her parents and what happened with her Uncle Adam when she was little. Natalie had major problems believing Rand when he said she was his mate through a lot of the story. Personally, I thought that went on a little too long. The sex was hot though not the main focus. I don't recall seeing any grammatical errors.
Loved the book, but not sure why "Ruthless" - I found Rand and "the real Natalie" a delightful couple. He was so frustrated trying to figure out how to woo a human, and she was unable to understand that fated mates meant more than sometimes fickle human love. Vandalism and near tragedy shine a bright light on the truth, justice is served (if not entirely satisfactory) and the HEA is assured. Love those Wolf Ranch shifters!
What can be more fun then another trip back to Wolf Ranch and the fun loving "wolf shifters". I've always like Vanessa Vale and have come to feel the same about the writing of Renee Rose. Their books are cleverly written, with full rich characters, steamy love and a storyline that never disappooints. One of the reasons why this series is so good is that they have created a whole world where each book is usually about one of the shifters you already know from previous books. They always leave me with a smile! PS The editing is exellent so you won't see lines where the characters names etc. get mixed up, mispelled words or the wrong tense used. Wahoo!
Natalie Sheffield inherited her Uncle Adam’s house. As Natalie enjoyed the watering hole on her property, Rand scented her and watched her as she enjoyed the pond. Natalie recognized Rands wolf which made him off kilter. As they begin to explore their relationship, things start happening and as Natalie is not sure how things truly work, she messes with Rands well being. Things happen that change things for the two of them, some good, some not so good. I truly enjoyed this story as well as the series so far. It is well written with some angst and lots of loving. I would definitely recommend.
It can’t be over! I have loved every book in this series. These authors have included such over-the-top characters that I found myself falling in love with each of them. This couple is no different. The steam between them just zings right off the page, making it so easy to get caught up in the story. And what a story it is! I love that these two found their way back to each other after so many years apart. These authors have really outdone themselves with this book and I can only hope that they will bring us more stories in the future.
I'm not a writer, I'm an avid reader and read this book in a day and a half. I couldn't put it down. Great characters, divine romance, really good story. This has been an awesome series. I recommend the entire series. They are not repeats with different names. Each book is a stand alone awesome romance with hot as hell dominant males. But the books as you will want to read them again.
Natalie knew Rand's secret. She'd seen him do something very strange for a human when she was ten years old. She told her uncle and he swore her to secrecy. Fifteen years later Natalie sees Rand again only this time he knows she's his mate. The story is formulaic. They establish a relationship with the usual build up to a breakup and requisite catastrophe. The heat between characters is good. The series has been interesting but the authors have just about covered all the tropes in prior books. I enjoyed the story you might too.
What I love about this series is every one is radically different than the last, but Author Rose pulls it all together with quality characters. This one starts different and Natalie and Rand reconnect after years to find a love to last a lifetime. These are such amazing characters. Memorable in every way. This is a standalone, but why wouldn't you read the others? All this, along with the best editing I've ever seen, makes this yet another fabulous story!
I'm sad to see this book will be the last in the Wolf Ranch Series as they've all been fun fast paced reads. However Ruthless was my least favorite as I just couldn't relate to the female lead. When you have a sexy AF, loves you till death, faithful cowboy pursuing you how can you give him a hard time? I still liked the book and will always get the new Renee Rose story.
