How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsgood love story with lots of drama
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 7, 2022
FIERCE - DEVIN is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are sexy scenes if that is an issue for you. Devin is not actually a Fierce, but he is a cousin and is thought of like family. The mothers are sisters. In this story his aunt, his mother's sister, has her sights set on finding a match for Devin. He wants no part of her interference. The story is set around the brewery where most of the family works.

Devin has been away from home for a while but returned when a job was offered in the plant. His old job had him in the middle of union problems and he was getting nothing but grief. When the job offer came up he was more than ready to move back home. There is a big family with lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, kids, grand kids, etc. They are a bit much for Devin but they are family and they all stick together.

Hope is new to the company. She moved to their town following a boyfriend that she barely knew. When she found him cheating with multiple women she packed her bag and moved. She is trying to stay away from men and get her life back on track. She came from a very dysfunctional family and she lives with that every day. When Kevin asked her out she was more than ready to go out with him. She had her eye on him but so did every other single woman in the company. She didn't really think he noticed her. He did.

This was a good story. A bit complex as their backgrounds played a bit part in their actions. They each had obstacles to overcome before they could move on. And there was always his interfering aunt on the edges of their relationship. To be honest, I didn't care for the aunts role in things. It is a good story and I would definitely recommend it.

I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 3/7/2022

2.0 out of 5 starsokay. very predictable
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 12, 2022
The cover is steamier than the story. It was super predictable. When her ex was contacting her I knew he was stalking her and trying to see her right away and then I knew Devin should have just told her that they found the tracker. Why didn’t he tell her? The whole confrontation was idiotic and unnecessary. I feel like she was an idiot as well trying to be Mrs. independent and not tell people her ex is stalking her and following her around. There couldn’t be that many coincidences where she thought she saw him and she knew he was trying to tell her he loved her and all. Overall it was okay. I feel like there was a lot of fluff and could have been better. I wouldn’t read it again and I don’t have a desire to read the other books in the Fierce Five / Fierce series based on this book by itself.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the way that all of the family members were included in this book. Devin and Hope's story was so real and enjoyable to read. I liked the way that both characters were written and that there was a little bit of comedy of how Jolene was a big part of the matchmaking process. Such a beautiful love story. I definitely would recommend this book to readers who love a good romance novel. Natalie Ann has done it again with another awesome book.

Devin was sure a great guy, but what was he waiting for? Love, he just did not know what live was. Hope just got out of a bad relationship and needed time, but Devin was a delicious looking guy. Her body was at a different pace than her head. Read to find out just what her body went through…!

5.0 out of 5 stars New Fierce Series! Wonderful

The Fierce Matriarch women are at it again. Jolene, Carolyn, and Diane are so happy that all of their children have met their match and settled down that now they want to pass that happiness around to their nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jolene’s nephew, Devin has moved back home to work in the family business at the Brewery. Devin is the oldest of the clan but has never had a serious relationship and he just didn’t think love was for him.
Hope took a job at the Brewery after a failed relationship. She is determined that she is going to take time for herself and not think about dating.
As Devin and Hope start working on a project together, sparks start to fly, and both find themselves falling in love. Little did Devin know that this was Aunt Jolene’s plan all along.
Natalie Ann does family like no other. Wonderful book!

Natalie Ann is one of my favorite authors. I just love the Fierce series. You don’t have to read the books in any order, they are all stand alone books. Devin is convinced he can find his own girlfriend and doesn’t need any help from his Aunt Jolene. Devin moved back home to work with his cousins at Fierce Brewery. He met Hope, who started working there after a bad breakup and had no desire in dating anyone she worked with. Devin asked her to help him get his Aunt Jolene off his back about going out with her friend’s daughter and agree to go out with him. Are they just friends? Is Jolene trying to fix him up with a friend’s daughter?

5.0 out of 5 stars Devin

In the latest installment of the interfering mothers/aunts, we are introduced the Jolene's sisters and their families. Of course, they have adult children who they want to marry off as soon as possible.

Devin and Hope both work at Fierce Brewing and they are not acting on the attraction the both have until a push from Aunt Jolene. From there the story, which centers on their growing relationship, also brings back all of the Fierces and their families. It's always fun the catch up on the new births in a series.

Enjoyable story with a little mystery on the side and a couple deserving of love.

This is another side of the Fierce legacy. This one delves into a former lover obsession with letting go of a relationship that was over.. A story also about self-esteem and trying to chance your presence.
