Things weren’t going according to Quinton’s plan. The attempt to acquire a ship was thwarted by an unusually high security system. But he found another PMC there. And then the Sentinels are all over the place, and they want him. Then there’s the star base where he finds more PMC’s, losing one to the Sentinels. But an old “girlfriend” shows up... Together they figure out the mysterious signals and find an asteroid ship that gets the Sentinels running. And then... we have to wait.
I very much enjoyed this book! I have become a fan of your work. Looking forward to the next installment! Hopefully Quinton can have a new body made on this new ship, he really misses the feelings that go with the human body! Thanks for another great read!
This is an excellent continuation from the first book. There is plenty of action and character building throughout and a well done somber moment towards the end. The Federation Chronicles is turning into just as good of a series as the First Colony. If you haven't read this series give it a go.
This book was really interesting and kept me trying to figure out what was to happen next. Who is going to do what next and how all those involved are going to react to it. Enjoy this book it's written by a very good person.. ;-) You're
I’ll admit that when I started reading the first book in this series, I was unsure of how I felt about it, but by the time I reached the end I wanted more. The second book was everything and more! The characters are great and I love the banter between Quinton and Guttman. I anxiously await book 3 in this series! Thank you Ken for writing excellent science fiction!
Hat tip to Mr. Lozito! Without giving anything away...he has put together a unique story that i really enjoyed. If you liked Joshua Dalzelle's later Omega Force universe novels or Doug Dandrige's Empires at War series...then you will most likely really enjoy these. Now I am stuck waiting to see what the next installment might look like! Great story!
Very good sci-fi adventure. I liked the book and the author attempted to provide some humor. I did not care for parts of the ending. And there is probably two more books that could be written about Salvation. I think the story grew too big for the book. I am looking forward to the next installment. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
You know what I hate? Books that have such a good ending that you can't wait for the next one and then you have to write a review and all you can think about is the ending and you can't spoil that for everyone! Love the characters although I do wish we could have seen more of Stumpy. Good series.
This review is for the first two books. The story begins slowly and neither the hero or the reader knows what the heck is going on. And then step by step the story unfolds. By the end of book two you'll be fully invested .. Guaranteed.
