Brenda Blanchard's collection of Taboo Sex Stories lives up to its name: truly there is something for everyone in this collection and, let's face it, when you download a book like this, you only need one good story for the book to be well worth the purchase. I definitely found my story in this collection and enjoyed it... uh, tremendously.
While the good news is that there are 40 stories in the collection and those stories cover just about every kind of sexual situation and fetish you might like to explore, the bad news is, of course, there will probably be a good number of stories that aren't really your kink. With that said, the book delivers because the reader is sure to find at least one or two erotic stories that light her fire and get the job done.
The acknowledgement that people are different makes it hard to review the collection fairly. What excites you, I'll admit, might not be my idea of a good time. With that said, I recommend the book highly because it so comprehensive. The four stars instead of five are simply because I found some of the writing to be a bit uneven: in other words, in some stories it felt like the writer herself had little patience with the sexual scenario and was relying on a more "formulaic" approach. Understandable-- we've all got our preferences--but I could tell when the author herself was fully "engaged" and when she was a bit bored.
All in all, a nice collection for a rousing good read!
