4.0 out of 5 starsSPOILERS ⚠️

I really love this series. The previous book left off on such a horrible/amazing cliff hanger and this book didn’t give you an answer immediately. I love and hate that lol but we only had to wait a tiny bit for answers to the cliffhanger and then only a little longer for other answers. The book was great. Faris is by far my favorite. He is hilarious and sweet and a little psycho. The part that bugged me is the ending. Saige insisted on going to her mother alone and ended up in trouble. You would think they would learn from that but instead Sloan decides to go off on his own not even hours after this disaster and got himself kidnapped! These people have got to learn to quit separating. They know they are in danger and they know people are after them so their constant need to go off alone is annoying. But the books are still great. I’m just sad/mad/depressed that the final won’t be out for months!

I have one issue and only one issue with this. It’s a spoiler and will be at the very bottom. Otherwise, I think this series is cute. The author has a very comical, silly cringe personality and it pushes into their work. I love it. I love the guys, their relationship with each other and their devotion to Saige. It’s a little much at times but it doesn’t make me want to throw up. My main reason for not enjoying this like I did the others is because of how some things came out in order. Needless to say, I missed out.

*SPOILER*****

So. One of the guys found out that Saige’s best friend’s daughter was being investigated. She wasn’t brought up when they all got together again, and I get it. But even AFTER it got brought up, Saige didn’t go into MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER mode for this little girl and that really, really upset me. Made Faris’ adorable times and the hot group sex a total waste of my time because I could. Not. Stop. Worrying. And I was getting rather angry that Saige thought sex with her men was more important than ensuring that her supposed BEST FRIEND still had her daughter all safe and sound.

Children are so important to me. I’m very disappointed with how they reacted or chose to react. Soured everything for me and just made me angrier when she ended up kidnapped anyways. Good job, best friend.

I loved this, so much, it’s amazing. After the cliff that The Magic of Betrayal left us on, I’ve been worried and concerned and sad and hoping against all hope that Britt Andrew’s had a good reason for the emotional turmoil she dropped us all in. It was so worth it! I am never doubting her again. I love Saige and her connection with the guys and theirs with each other. Khol is one of my favorite characters now, after I hated him in book 1. The character growth for everyone has been amazing. Sloan is working his way out of my own personal bad book bf doghouse.
All the things this book has;
-Personal growth
-Power gain/learning more about personal strength
-Answers to burning questions
-More mysteries and cliffs to fall off of
-relationship growth
-brutal, emotional honesty
-revenge
-forgiveness
-hope
-crazy Gran moments
-personal moments between characters

I am so excited for book 4 and I am trusting that the cliff hanger we just went through is for a reason. It’s for a reason, right?

5.0 out of 5 stars Revenge is a dish served SPICEY!!!

Britttttt!! OMG even at the start chapter 1 I was already hooked into your wonderful word weaving again! I fall more in love with Saige and her guys with every book. The SPICE in this one...whew gonna need a towel..or three! Saige really starts to own her sexuality with multiple partners at the same time and Im LOVING IT! The giggles were non-stop, absolutely adore Gran. The scene with her and Bram talking "preparations" I was rolling. The heartache was also real in this book, I love that our favourite Emerald Lakes residents are not just smiley happy plastic people. The depth of emotions brings them to life.

Book 3 of 4, dont miss this series if you love smoking hot demons, shifters, guys and a very smart sassy heroine that shows us the power of claiming your own brand of magick!

So worth the wait! I don’t even know where to begin...
Faris. I freaking love him. He’s my new favourite. I thought he was going to be the complete psycho but no, he’s an eager happy lil puppy that likes to explore all things new. From raw flour to easy Mac to body piercings.
I’m so looking forward to all of the guys exploring their relationships with each other and everyone just coming together as one unit. The new dynamics of Faris and Bram and also Kai and Cam.
Napoleon is now my new fav side character. He’s so cute!
I also have some theories of who Maven and Palmer really are.
And holy heck Sloane??
This is the series I never knew I needed in my life!

Brit has done it again! Such a great book. She develops amazing characters. Their personalities are so distinct and you can’t help but like them all.

She left us with our heart in our throat at the end of book 2, but didn’t keep you suspended for too long. Bram is amazing in this book. He fits in perfectly with the other guys. Sloane is finally coming around and his emotional growth was so great to see.

Saving the best for last...FARIS! Faris, Faris, Faris, my heart beats for Faris.

Ma. Andrews- that ending..you sure do love to leave us hanging!!

The only disappointment it I blew through this book so quickly and now it will be 3 more months of waiting!!

Gods, grant me strength! This series is killing me. I have never had to take as many breaks to compose myself as I did during this book. Between the suspense robbing my breath and the freaking drool running down my chin, I'm a mess. I really don't think I will heal from how wrecked my mental stability is after getting a taste of Britt Andrews' mind. But I might as well change my name to little Ollie, because I'm still first in line begging, "Please Ma'am, I want some more!"

After the crazy cliffy from the last book, I didn’t think there was any way I would start this one out laughing, but I was wrong! Saige and the guys have some seemingly insurmountable problems ahead of them, but handle them and moreee. This book has everything: the steam, the giggles, the sadness, and a whole lot of wtf/omg. I am still blown away that this is Britt Andrews’ first series. She is an amazing storyteller. I can’t wait for the next one!

There are so many layers to this story and it seems to only now starting to come together and be interesting but also still has tons of mystery. I’m curious how everything is going to pull together. The series is good enough to stand on its own that I really wish the cliffhanger endings would stop.

There are some very tough scenes in here, but also I dislike how much Saige has frozen and panicked, but also sorta understand it. It’s still disappointing that by the 3rd time a villain gets her she hasn’t idk worked up the courage to do anything. It’s a bit annoying but trauma does funny things so I’m trying to be understanding I just wish she had more confidence in her abilities because I think she could have handled the person easily. So her having to be rescued was somewhat annoying.

Still enjoying it but may not go to the next one quite yet since I know there are more to come but they aren’t out yet. And I’m a binge reader so I like to do a few in a group at a time.

This book was another page turner. I love these characters and the overall development of the plot. There are however some things that I missed in this book compared to the previous books. I felt like the overall steam was losing some spice. Book one started off very strong and I feel like the dynamics have lost a bit of their edge along the way.
When I think of that exquisite scene between Fisher and Sloane in book 1, I have to admit that I kind of miss the feeling that scene invoked. There's still quite a lot of smutty goodness to enjoy, but what can I say, I loved that one so much.

The fact that there's multiple plot twists including kidnappings and separation is something I find a bit repetitive. I would've loved to see something different, to see them growing as a team too. It's something I hope to see more of in the next books because I really do adore this series as a whole and plan to continue reading.

Bram, Faris Randy Rogers and Khol stole the show in this book and I need more of where that came from.
