Save yourself the trouble!

Save yourself the trouble! I'm on book 3 and I will make sure to post this review on each book in the series. I understand this is supposed to be considered pulp Science Fiction but the writer doesn't try. The ship gets nearly destroyed on every 5th page, crashes unrealistically on some unknown planet, gets magically repaired, then starts the cycle all over again. How many times can a tender (whatever that is supposed to be) get smashed, blown up, ripped off, then oh it's repaired, we can fly again. I declare in book 2 one second they were in earth's atmosphere with a HOLE in the ship, literally the next second in an asteroid belt, then literally the next second they are at some unknown planet. Wait one minute, you were just in the Sol solar system. The lazy writing just got under my skin to no end. Much of it just doesn't even make sense how the battle scenes play out. And the unrealistic damage the ship constantly takes is just off putting. Oh did I mention they ran out of ammo at one point, got wrecked on a planet as always, repaired themselves as always, then got right back into a fight WITHOUT EVER HAVING HAD A CHANCE TO RELOAD. Give me a break. If I could give these books less than one star I would. I simply do NOT understand these 4 and 5 star reviews. Action packed?... yes.... If you consider reading the same 10 page battle sequences over and over again. Honestly. Knowing what I know now... I wouldn't read these books if they were FREE and I can't say enough bad things about the series so far...
