5.0 out of 5 starsVery good series I can’t wait for the next one!
Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2021
I sometimes feel like I have nothing new to read and I’m just waiting for my favorite authors to put out new books. I have a hard time finding good authors. For example I was reading a dragon book that takes place on a red mostly desert planet with a red sky and very little water. The series started off to a great start but by book 8 I felt like it was written by a whole different writer who was working with an outline and had never read the series. So all along in the books the dragons are teaching humans how to live with little water and how difficult it was to find on this planet. But it is around this time book 7 or 8 or something close, that this human woman gets away from the caves that they live in behind a wall of stone wall that keeps the bad things out and she leaves this safety and finds a cave filled with a nice deep pool of hot water. The issue I have is that this woman doesn’t tell anyone else about it and just uses it to bathe herself everyday. The group of people in this book have to work so hard every day to get enough water for each person not to die and this woman would keep it secret. Not nice and probably not real. Supposedly, these dragons have been there for ages and they have a greatly enhanced sense of smell and they can’t find water a five minutes walk away? Then in one of them the ending went a certain way but in the next book it started off completely at odds with the previous book in the series. I believe in this one the main characters are looking up at a blue sky and I don’t remember what else but I don’t think I even finished it because I was so disgusted with the number of times in one book you contradict all that has happened in the past 6 or 7 books in the series. I think I was at 8 discrepancies when I wrote out my review of that book. This book series did pretty good at keeping track from one to the next. I understand that the next book will be on a different moon so that leaves it open for her to make everything new except the core part of dragons coming as guardians of parentless pod babies who they adopt out to women and grant them a farm and money to get started. Everything else is fair game. I’m really looking forward to the next set in this series but because this is where I started with Tasha Black I have a few other books to read while I wait. My hope is that this tells people that this is a great series and it tells the author that it is important for the enjoyment of a book series that each one has to be consistent with the other books. If you write a series you have to have a consistent backdrop and if the characters appear in multiple books that they are kept straight because we actually remember stuff like names and looks. Thank you. I apologize if you didn’t need all of this.

1.0 out of 5 starsAnnoying at best

The first book in the series was interesting, although it lack some basic processes that should have been thought out and put into the story. This one was garbage. Insta love on the H’s part after 2 days, stupidly on the h’s part, just want to smack them both. They both need a whole bottle of common sense. It’s only 170ish pages and I’m struggling to finish.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tyro and Phoebe

A great conclusion to this fun series. Tyro is the green Dragon Warrior of Invicta and he has his work cut out for him with Phoebe. Unlike the other two “mothers” she comes from a privileged background and a successful farm. She only has one thing in mind when it comes to the plot of land she was allotted for taking on the baby, set up a successful farming venture just like her father has but she is in for a big surprise when the farm she gets is totally underwater. Will she be able to make it a success? Will she lower her walls enough to let Tyro and by extension Atlas in? Will her secrets destroy everything before they can ever really begin?

Phoebe is the last of this group from the intergalactic adoption agency and her baby is in the arms of a big green warrior named Tyro but phoebe is sure if this was the right decision because she has come just to restart her life as a farmer be she never counted that this moon farmed definitely. But now Tyro is also something she didn’t count on. Tyro didn’t count on finding his mate and he can’t quite figure her out. But when it all seams like everything is working out trouble come. So enjoy this good read and see what trouble come and how it works out!!

She found out her fiance was sleeping with someone else and just wanted her to land. So she ran away answer and ad fir adoption, land and a new life. He was chosen to guard and help take care of a baby. She was shock at how simple things were and no droids to help out. She's her father's daughter and knew how to get things done in business. The attraction is strong but they fight it. To get to know and understand each other. They had a few things happen but were able to work them out.

Such happy and lovely stories in this series. Tyro is tasked to care and protect baby Atlas. When he meets Atlas's new mother, Phoebe, Tyro immediately knows she is his mate. Phoebe is gifted a special farm for agreeing to adopt Atlas. During their interactions with the town and merchants, Tyro finds Phoebe to be a strong, caring and intelligent woman. There are a few ups and downs before they get their happily ever after but they learn they are strong not only together but also with the other farms and people.

There is humor, sadness, no danger, an ex-fiance, and a hot dragon warrior. A new character is added, A droid who can babysit or be a farm guard. The series gets better and better. Recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars An adopted son, a dragon warrior, and a new mom with secrets...
Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2021
Phoebe is the last of the original trio of adoptive mothers come to Clotho for their new children and the farmstead that comes with. Like Luna and Aurora before her, she didn’t anticipate the guardian dragon bound to stay with her child until he’s grown. Or that she’d have such immediate chemistry with him. Not to mention that the farm she thought she’d be able to bring her farming background to is like no farm she’s see before. Because it’s underwater.
But the immediate attraction to the unexpected member of her new family is the least of her problems. Even the type of farming is lower on her list than she’d expected when her past and her future collide, stirring up all kinds of trouble for the new family.
Phoebe and Tyro’s story—and Atlas who brings them together—is a quick, but satisfying read. The new family has to find their footing, and Phoebe’s more of a little Princess than either she or Tyro realized going in, but she’s clever and quick to adapt, and has a big heart. Set in a separate community of Clotho than her friends, Phoebe’s story further fleshes out the world and navigates some of the same problems in a different way, along with some problems all her own.

4.0 out of 5 stars Phoebe & Tyro

A fun conclusion to the series. At first Phoebe comes across as a cold and spoiled princess, and Tyro isn’t sure what to think. I was put off a bit myself at her attitude the first couple of chapters, but then Phoebe seems to soften and be more easily understood. The submerged farming at the lake was so different from the environments Luna/Noxx and Aurora/Kade experienced in the previous books so this is an entirely unique story.

Phoebe has a past that shows up and surprises Tyro. They have a bit of a misunderstanding which if left to fester could tear them apart. It was interesting to see each of them work through this obstacle to their relationship.

I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
